What are you enjoying on your Switch?
Comfy Switch Thread
obligatory
so hori is charging 20 extra for this thing and you can't even play it unplugged what a joke
I might as well buy some of those chinese knock offs
lmao, is that steamdeck heat thing real?
Yuppie Psycho right now. Pretty enjoyable, reminds me of Ib.
my switch will arrive in a few days :)
Neptunia Senran Ninja Wars
More TOK today! Hoping to at least finish the blue streamer.
Playing XCDE
It's fun! I'm about 9 hours in, clearing stuff around the Bionis Leg area before I go to Colony 6.
I feel like I'm screwing up the combat somehow. Haven't died too much yet though so I'm not sure.
Finished Kirby last week, loved it.
Finished Links Awakening the other day, loved it way more than I thought I would.
Currently playing Dragon Quest Builders 2 whilst it's still free on NSO.
Great game and soundtrack
Playing West of Loathing right now. Did a shits and giggles play-through with my buddies last night and we realized how fucking OP Doc Alice is.
TOK is a lot of fun, it's a shame it gets lumped in with SS and CS because two are absolute garbage imo
I’ve got Go Vacation coming in the mail tomorrow
It was one of my favorite games on the Wii I had growing up, and I have so many nice memories of playing it with my family.
Binbok and nexon make fully featured split pads with wireless and everything. You'd be retarded to buy hori products in the year of our lord 2020+2
I think TOK is fun as its own game if you dont expect it to be like TYD and learnt he battle system which can take a bit
I recently beat New Pokemon Snap and since then I've kind of been bouncing off the games I've tried. Most recently I gave Quake a go and so far I've stuck with it.
I'm waiting on Aegis Rim to arrive.
Bro enjoy. I don’t do weeb games or novel types but 13 sentinel blew me away.
It's my first PM game since TTYD and I'm really liking it. The battle system doesn't really click with me but the overworld is beautifully designed and fun to explore, and the story/dialogue are adorable as ever. It's honestly kind of nice not having to worry about exp and RPG stuff, I needed a good breezy adventure game like this.
Yeah I think at this point they should just do like a
>fuck you, fine, here's a direct sequel to TTYD
release because the Switch will still be around to hit Paper Mario's obligatory 4 year release cycle
think its a good entry point?
Yeah I'd say so. The games are all different from each other and each tell their own separate story, so you can't go wrong. If you have the NSO expansion, you can play the first one on N64 and that's also a good place to start.
How is triangle strategy? I like Fire Emblem games and Valkyria Chronicles but some of the other SRPGS i've tried are boring to me
heard a lot of good things about it. people who like the genre seem to love it
Can someone confirm if the Cotton shmups from the Saturn Collection have been fixed in later patches? I know both the PS4 and Switch versions suffered of input lag on release.
I'd like to know if Deathsmiles I+II on Switch is also a decent shmup port considering the publisher
>tf just got a switch pro
what are some good games to get for it? i already have mario kart and catherine full body
Astral Chain, Metroid Dread and Dragon Quest Builders.
Pretty much all the Paper Mario games except for the first two are completely stand alone entries, so TOK is a fine one to start with. In fact you'll probably enjoy it even more than the veterans since it won't be living in PM64/TTYD's shadow
switch pro when?
I've been hearing great things about it since it came out on PS4.
I waited a bit until I could buy it for $50, it wasn't at Walmart (which also seems to be fucking their in-store less expensive pricing lately too).
is link's awakening as comfy as it looks? feeling like trying out a new zelda. LA or SS HD?
That's tough. Both are very different, but both are good in their own ways, especially with the improvements made to SS in the Switch version.
I would say Links Awakening is a lot more challenging from a puzzle solving perspective, while Skyward Sword is often more about accurately completing the funky sword mechanics but overall isn't as challenging to complete blind.
Overall, Link's Awakening is probably the way to go.
Playing Stardew again, trying to decide what on my backlog to play next
I'll probably end up playing both but wanted to get some opinions on which to try out first.
Good to know LA is a bit more challenging as that's what I'm looking for.
Which one do I get?
Board consensus says left.
I'm too aspie about performance to appreciate my Switch. I'm playing Arceus atm though.
Links Awakening is super comfy. Such a fun compact game to play through
What do you say?
I don’t even have a switch
Playing Disco Elysium: The Final Cut on my second playthrough. It now runs perfectly, they fixed the loading times.
I heard the Saturn Collection was patched but it's still not great. Death Smiles is fine, but better on PS4 input latency wise like most shmups.
Ok. So what are you doing in this thread? Windowshopping?
Think I'm finally gonna try Hollow Knight and start Xenoblade DE to hopefully get caught up with Xenoblade 1 and 2 before 3. Shouldn't have dragged my feet but I guess nobody could have seen them releasing it sooner.
Remember to play the first 4 Xeno games!
Playing through Legends Arceus. Really want those Final Fantasy pixel remasters on Switch.
Any games like a Randy Random Rimworld playthrough in the sense that I'm managing a colony or group of characters with unique personalities while shenanigans ensue?
Thinking maybe Death Road To Canada, not really sure what else.
Partly, I ordered a switch and it’ll arrive within a week.
based. what are your first games?
SSBU, BOTW, Ring Fit
Nice. Enjoy it. I'm playing all my favorite indies from my couch now. It's comfy as fuck.
I basically just started XCDE with the idea that I'd play the first one now, the second one in like July, and then the big 2nd DLC to prepare for the September launch but now im just like
well, fuck lol
I guess i'll take my time and enjoy it
nice, good mix
unfortunately for SSBU the best stages are locked behind the fighter passes but there's still a ton of content in the base game
Beabeesea cuck porn
>wii
>growing up
holy zoomer
I know right, people who were born in 2004 can post here now
Still enjoying Atelier Sophie and trying not to buy more games until I finish one I already have
Is TWEWY NEO worth it? From what I've seen on jewtube, it seems pretty soulless compared to the original.
There's a demo on the eShop. It's full of soul
How long until you fags are moved to /vg/?
I picked it up on one of those buy 2 get 1 free sales recently because i get the feeling it's gonna be really difficult to find physically eventually
i barely remember the original to be honest
either way Yea Forums seemed to like it, pic related
just set a filter newfag it takes like 2 seconds
