I do, it's one of the best games for multigenerational incest. I've got to cull some of the kids though, there are way too many and they ruin the look of the genealogy tree. I'd show a screenshot of my family tree but it takes too long to get in-game but it's even more autistic and confusing than yours (not a brag, by the way). I, too, struggle with giving people makeovers and so far I am only about halfway done with them. I tend to just give higher priority to the sims I end up "hanging out" with more than others.

As for the younglings, I don't bother. I keep all the kids in a separate lot because I hate children. When they're old enough they can join the main family and get proper outfits and what have you.

Anyway, I dunno what it is. I'm not even that much of a fetishist or coomer, but the incest potential in the sims has always been the most interesting to me. Something about it is just funny and interesting.

Gave it a chance twice, first time I had some nasty bugs which I didn't expect since they withered down the game to make it less of a mess like 3 was but it failed, and the second time I got bored after a hour, something that I never had happen with any other of the Sims games

Nice, the tree gets fucked up in what it can display very quickly, for example those final generations shown have kids too, but they don't show up past like great grandkids.

This is usually how it goes for me too, some of them I end up just liking far more than the others (like pic related the matriarch of the family and oldest sim).

Lot size is a big problem, if you make it so a lot can have more sims on it you then can't export the household without ghosting the excess sims, I've just made multiple households for all my favorites in one region and all the lesser characters get dumped into other regions.

Very, very nice, user—my clan is also headed by a beautiful matriarch who is still alive, though uh, I had to do some in-universe/in-lore cult shit to explain her apparent immortality. Canonically, she'd be like in her 60s or something at the least, but is still Adult in-game. She was elder at one point and I almost let her die but made a decision many years ago and well, I'm glad I did because I may have given up on the game if she passed.

It's like the butterfly effect or something, man, Anyway, the export household thing is a nuisance but for the longest time I have simply used the fullhouse mod to move people around. I think it's a simple console command like "tm.fullhouse firstname lastname" and then you add "true" at the very end if it goes past a certain point. I'unno. Anyway, it makes moving them around very easy. Plus, I think MC Command Center can do something similar but it's just so much easier using a command.

As for the family tree shenanigans, I've noticed that as well. And lately I've seen a few sims missing a parent, but that might be from way back in the day when the stupid game was randomly culling people for no reason and I had to go out of my way to restore two sims in my main family that had disappeared, complete with manually restoring parents via mc command center. Shit's annoying, but what can ya do.

It at least keeps us busy, eh. There's always something to work on and improve.

Is there any way to get back lost characters? I made a family to be neighbours with my own, and then accidentally killed the single dad. Now his kids are gone.

The eternal milf reigns supreme as it should be. I occasionally like to start a new save so I keep the households at the default limit or lower to export everyone, the main annoyance with that is reapplying the familial ties with MCCC since they get cut for anyone outside the household in a new save.
