What I don't get is why the fuck would you announce that you didn't play the games or read the books? Like how does that help you at all? And why the fuck is each episode have a 10 million dollar budget and already lit for a season 2?
The Monster Hunter movie pissed me off too because it was an unironic isekai when they could have just done a bunch of dudes hunting monsters, monsters beating up each other, and the dudes have to hunt a big monster towards the end and just focused a ton on the action.
They have such huge fucking budgets that sometimes beat out normal mainstream TV shows and movies and they make this kind of shit.
