So what if i take your spell card then use my set hand destruction or similar card do I get to discard only the spell card since it is my hand for the turn and get a plus 3? Can I use card of demise with it to draw 2? Do I keep my new hand and add it with my old hand next turn? What the fuck does it mean to use it as my hand what are the implications of this card from 2002

No, you don't discard your hand when someone uses hand destruction. You discard the cards in your hand. So if I'm using your monster reborn in your GY as my hand then draw two with pot of greed, then you use hand destruction I would discard the two cards from your monster reborn assuming I chose to use that as my hand for the draws.

Have you considered using cards that blow up the field spell? Because all you need to do is blow up the field spell. Twin Twisters and Cosmic Cyclone are both cheap and sufficiently useful in a lot of situations.

Serious answer: What that trap does is add the spell to your hand and you can cast it that turnassuming it is your turn but you take 2k damage. If you do not play it it will go back to their graveyard at the end of the turn, even if you set it.

Killing their dumbass 4,000 atk skill drain combo with psi is so satisfying cause they have no other plays after that

Who fucking knows. That is actually the errata'd and current version. It was changed to that in 2004 and it is really poorly worded.
This is the original printing which is much clearer even though it clarifies that you can't use a spell card on your opponent's turn which shouldn't be needed.

Adding it to your hand would imply permeance. The added spell goes away at the end of your turn. Using it as your hand for this turn makes perfect sense.

It really doesn't. If it said "using it as if it's in your hand" it'd make sense. Using it AS your hand means you treat the card as if it IS your hand. This obviously doesn't make sense though, so the only thing that does make sense with that wording is that you just have to target a spell card, but the "it" in the second sentence is their whole graveyard meaning you can use any of their graveyard cards as though they're in your hand.

I interpreted "use it as your hand" as every other card in your hand is no longer "your hand", but that one card is now "your hand". So does that mean you discard every other card in your hand? Is every other card in your hand negated? It's really fucking stupid wording.

Zombie World works better, but Vampires also have their dedicated field, so it's a hard mix if you want control vampire spam or vampire yoinkers.
I can tell you much for free though, it's hard for them to board spam. But you'll get a kick out of a functioning vampire deck.
Me? I haven't found a decent mix yet, not enough vamp cards. I'm waiting for the new zombie support to hit MD.

I don't disagree that "using it as if it's in your hand" isn't significantly better wording. However your implication that your actual hand disappears or whatever based on the wording is wrong. The card says absolutely nothing about discarding your hand to use it. YGO is extremely literal. If it does not say there is a limitation to your hand it does absolutely nothing to your hand. You're finding more meaning in the words than there are.

These are the cards people should be asking about seriously what does it do

Zombie World+Vampires is a very fun combo deck that can really pop off turn 1 with 4 or more disruptions to the opponent's turn, or on turn 2 can go for an OTK by tributing your opponent's monsters to normal summon Voivode who then turns their monsters into Sheridan who can remove another card, and if it's a monster bring it to your side to use as link material with your unizombie for synchros or with your vampire sucker for link plays.
When you don't have a great hand for a big combo you can usually get out your basic zombie world stuff with Zombie World+Balerdroch+maybe halqifibrax to bring out Sunsaga or Baronne on their turn.
And when you don't flat out win in the first turn or two then you have good grind game with the typical Balerdroch shenanigans.

Very fun deck, but also very weak to disruption with Unizombie and Solitaire being very obvious chokepoints.

Why would you discard your normal hand just because you can also use something else as your hand? I didn't see anyone imply that, just that if you added the cards to your "second hand" that since it stops being your "second hand" after the turn then what happens to the cards?
The answer is that it doesn't matter because this is not a real effect and everything about it is just speculation.

Yea you surely wouldn’t discard your normal hand. I think the bigger question is using it as your hand and the implications this has on draw cards that involve having X amount of cards in hand. Can you set the spell use demise draw 3 or toss it with card destruction for 5 new cards? What happens next turn to those cards? You technically still have two hands the one from before grave robber and this new hand. It does say you can only use THAT card as your hand for the turn it doesn’t say shit about cards you draw from that hand so it could be assumed the only card you could play from hand that turn is the spell. However if you had demise or card destruction set you can still activate them to draw and use those cards that turn. However what happens next turn is the real question what cards stay in your hand is the last hand just in limbo it’s not removed from play not in grave the deck it’s in your “second hand” while you now have the first again. This is if we are taking the text as literally as possible which just makes no sense unless they age a ruling for this card already

Guss I'll try to make multiple decks, i tried them on edopro a bit and i love the use of life points and yoinking a lot, and they have a really cool aesthetic and as i already play zombie world decks I'm used to being halted at times when my uni zombie or solitaire fail

The rules of the game indicated it. You can't activate normal spell cards from your hand in the standby phase.

Standby phase is only for set cards/ cards that specifically mention it it’s why most people don’t even notice it going by unless specifically announced at actual tournament level play
