>Tekken 7 was powercrept and characters are becoming homogenous >Type Lumina is trash with auto combos >Strive is boring after learning matchups, appeals to the 41% more than ever now >SFV (lol) >New KOF has auto combos and looks worse than a genesis game >Fighterz is kusoge with awful netcode >Purseowner 4 Arena ultimax has awful netcode >Mortal Kombat was never good >Skull Girls is a furry game now >Duck Game is dead
Fighting games are shit now. Dungeon Fighter and LOL fighter look lame as hell. Only Blazing Strike looks remotely interesting and that's because it's a 3rd Strike homage
So bros, what Fightcade kino should I learn? I already play 3rd Strike. I'm thinking either KOF 2002 or KOF 98
JJBA. Literally played it today after a year. Also GGAC+R on Steam
Evan Perez
Kek.
+R just feels dead lately. JJBA is a little too kusoge for me
Zachary White
I simply wish I knew what to recommend because I find myself in a similar position, really the only things I find myself having fun playing of Fightcade is JJBA and SF III. Might give some of the classic MK games a shot but other than that I’m not sure
You deserve a smack upside the head for even trying imply that KoF15’s autocombos are anywhere the same amount of retardedness as Lumina when it’s tied to only one button, lower damage and very close range only where you can’t mash it on whiff. Also saying P4U has bad netcode when you know it’s already getting rollback in June. You’re blatantly being disingenuous especially if you didn’t mention Tekken 7’s trash netcode and I know you’re not going to stick to Fightcade longer than a couple days.
Beyond that though play Alpha 2.

I look forward to the addition of 98 being overrun by spics the next time you make this thread.

Cope. Until i can turn them off I wont buy it.
Also i refuse to buy Purse owner because fatlus disabled my ps3 download when the new game was announced. I won't support being strong armed into buying the same game twice. I would have bought the port too but they fucked me.
>granblue so dead he didn't even remember it top kek. dnf duel will probably be shit too. i have 0 hopes for sf6, i'm sure even the women will look ugly if the trailer is anything to go by
it's a shame, maybe in 10 years there can be another revival
Justin Jenkins
>input leniency is good because it lets disabled people like me I don't record my combos like a tryhard. Nice cope though street shitter. Enjoy playing as Jake Paul (Luke)
>tfw sfv has been fun since ono left but people are still stuck in season 1-2 mindset
Dominic Morales
Damn he’s good
Joseph Campbell
Game's fun but going by responses so far he'll just say "furry game" or bring up mlp.
Angel Bennett
their loss. let them bounce from dead game to dead game wondering why they keep dying.
Hunter Price
HnK is a very balanced fighting game because the infinites take a lot of effort and every other game in a similar vein. Thanks for establishing that every older fighting game had any idea on what the fuck balance is just cause the inputs where stricter.
Anthony Scott
I wish 3rd strike niggers would just play fightcade and be smart enough to just try the all games they have on it in instead of making the thousandth whine post even though this is just the daily fg bait thread and op has probably not played 2 of the mentioned games.
CvS2, Marvel 2, Jojos, KOF02, all my perfectly balanced classic favorites...
James Morris
will going to locals make fighting games more appealing
Jason Anderson
depends on your locals but obviously having friends to play with is much better than silently netplaying faceless internet people
Aaron Lopez
Isn't HNK mostly focused around draining people's stars so you can IK them? The infinities are def there but the IKs look more important
Grayson Evans
user, please. SFV isn't even the flagship game at majors anymore - it's Strive. That being said, Strive players are some of the biggest glue-eaters I've ever seen.
Nathaniel Adams
not at the level where people can pull off the infinites consistently

Both AC+R and BBCF have rollback and at least 3 dudes with okay connect to me. Dunno bout you, but I'm EATING these days.
6K overhead > roman cancel > c.S > 2S > 2H > heat knuckle (no extend) > attempt to catch them on wakeup with 5K low or Pot Buster
I'm a basic bitchbabby Pot. Pls no bully.

>fgc prides itself on being hardcore badasses >tell a guy, sonic-eyes I think his name was, to "stop feeding trolls you dumbass" >get banned FGC is a joke
They defend it saying "b-but you can turn it off :)"

Hey Faggots,
My name is Clayton, and I hate every single one of you. All of you are fat, retarded, no-lifes who spend every second of their day reposting tech that I invented and dropping combos. You are everything bad in the FGC. Honestly, have any of you ever discovered tech? I mean, I guess it’s fun accusing a dying man of hacking hospital records because you lack execution, but you all take it to a whole new level. This is even worse than reposting old tech i invented and claiming it as your own.
Don’t be a stranger. Just hit me with your best shot. I’m pretty much perfect. I was winning tournaments before i could even drive with a broken ps3 controller, and I discovered basically all of the tech you've ever used. What fighting games do you play, other than “jack off to naked drawn fanart of a furry fighting game character”? I also get perfect rounds in my matches, and have a banging hot trans girlfriend (She just blew me; Shit was SO cash). You are all faggots who should just kill yourselves. Thanks for listening.
you should learn the frcs on hammerfall, megafist, 6h etc. They are very strong in +R. Pot also has fb air pot buster which can be looped in the corner with enough meter, but takes some execution to use it in combos (if you fuck up tk 360, you get judge gauntlet). The damage off it is pretty damn nice though

>Type Lumina I will never not be mad. I really, really like a lot about it, but holy fuck do these retarded decisions killed this game for me. Not only that, they also doubled down on them.
Depends, most of them are full of niggers. They act nice and white to your face, but when they think you aren't watching, they act all niggery.
Needless to say, I didn't mesh well with them. But they were nice as far as niggers go.

Not even a furry. The game is just fun
Joshua Rodriguez
Yea, I know about how useful hammerfall's frc is. I just wanted to post a BnB I was comfortable with.
My biggest issue playing Pot is that I suck at just blocks. Once my opponent figures out I don't do them, they just throw out a barrage of blockstrings until I eventually crack. He's not like Gief or Tager where I can punish reckless play with churn butter SPD or fuck up half a dozen times and still win if I get in. I need to actually learn to play defense to play Pot.
William Gonzalez
>game from 2021 is more popular than game from 2016 I mean, I would certainly hope so
even then it's still close, SFV is 2nd place at evo right now beating every other dead-ass game
Dylan Peterson
Yeah, the lobbies work really well so you can still get matches most of the time but it's never going to be super popular It's definitely at a low point right now though because the devs are slow as fuck and there's a big update coming out sometime between next month and next year that people are waiting for, when the next big patch drops it'll bump up to a couple hundred for a bit and then float around 80ish for a decent bit and that's a pretty comfy number for a game like this.
Small roster and no one that really interested me turned me off Plus, really long combos that only do like 30-40% damage gives me real bad early BB vibes
>So bros, what Fightcade kino should I learn? None, because you obviously don't play Fighting games and only made this thread to seek validation as to why you jerk off to Baiken, while not playing any of her games, despite +R being perfectly playable online rn.
It is pretty Blazblue-y, but more late BB than early I think. Long low damage combos are possible but they're innefficient most of the time, you're giving your opponent extra resources and losing the ability to hard knockdown without meter if you stretch every combo as far as possible. If you make a combo twice as long and 40% more damaging you triple the amount of meter you give them. As the meta developed and players got better short combos into hard knockdown got a lot more popular because you can just do two combos instead and come out with both more damage and a significant resource advantage. Then you bust out the big combos when you've got full resources and two-touch in round three if you get the right starter. Though obviously it varies with character and individual playstyle.
