AoT has a great licensed game, and the key to it was simply not being a fucking arena fighter and letting the players have an OC with story relevance that can interact with the cast. The issue with these games is that they're probably extremely costly to make, by virtue of recasting the seiyuu alone, so a lot of corners are cut.

Most games that are just from existing IP end up running into the issue of the game just not being that good if they focus on the story.
Any good game based on a manga either needs the right IP to focus on the main story with, or preferably something with an expansive world to set the game in and mostly ignore the original story.
