It's pretty mid desu, side quests are usually beat this shitty enemy that's been recycled loads, few cut scenes actually look pretty decent.
The dlc activated something in my lizard brain that I liked though even though its literally shit

Ehh 6/10 and thats generous as fuck. It had loads of potential though the combat was decent enough(i think its the same as xenoverse 2?) But the only battle thats even remotely challenging is for some reason vegeta vs dodoria. Otherwise youll just steamroll everything and are basically just playing for the same story we've all seen a million times. Funny though that after cell saga they didnt even bother making cutscenes its just still frames with dialogue over them

Cell is ruined by not including Krillin and Buff Trunks as playable characters.
Buu is laughable and really hammers home how all over the place the arc was, given there's barely any time to enjoy playing as the characters before they are incapacitated/killed

It feels like they cut development at key stages. I'm convinced they're going to revisit the project and essentially "fix" it for next gen. Ground combat, new characters, new cutscenes, new encounters. Not being able to play as Trunks vs Cell was a huge mistake, it sets the pace for everything after it.

Personally the only one I struggled against was Vegeta v Buu, replaying it again on hard mode and it's not that bad but I know what I'm doing and have stocked on healing shit

im probably 1/3rd through it (if my memory of the show is correct, it probably isnt) I really like how vibrant and colorful it is, perfect for my RGB lightsync setup, although some areas feel pretty barren when on foot
the combat is somewhat repetitive but I also don't really have that many moves unlocked for most of the characters

It's great. The main game cut corners in the sagas after Freeza, but it's a very enjoyable game nonetheless.
