Its my second playthrough, first time doing magic, hoping to eventually be pure magic and no melee at all (outside of glintstone slicer and similar stuff which is fun as fuck), should I still be using the demi human queen's staff? Its +10 rn

Primordial Magic is forbidden because it fucks with the laws of nature. Anyone who tries to fuck with it gets turned into a head meatball, so the fact that the masters bodies disappear, her wanting to return magic to its primordial roots and then having said meatball recognize us, implies that she did fuck with primordial magic, got merged with the masters bodies and failed hard.

It destroyed all pretense of hopeful nature the game had for me. Now I see it as just another souls game and not an outlier.

Rock Sling is great for the early game and against enemies that are resistant to magic as it counts as physical damage.
Azur Comet as well once you have the flask ingredient that will let you spam it for free for a few seconds.

night magic is pretty fun and allows you to cheese a ton of hard enemies, all cold spells, all legendary spells, Don't forget to get marika's scarseal for extra int / fp

The demi human queen's staff is pretty bad for pure mage. Stick with the Astrologer's staff until you get either the Academy Glintstone Staff from Raya Lucaria, the Carian Glintstone Staff if you wanna boost your blade magic, or if you're feeling adventurous you could try and find the Meteorite Staff that's in some ruins near the start of the transition of Limgrave to Caelid.

Inm haven't seen that yet. Is it pestilent mercury?

Sorcery is so overpowered it's not even funny, it's an actual easy mode.

Absolutely. Switch out Pebble for Swift/Night Glintstone Shard because the spell has a lower cast time and can combo into Comet faster because of that fact. Other good spells include:

Terra Magica
Shard Spiral
Glintstone Arc
All the melee magic spells besides Shatter Earth and Rock Blaster. And even then they got buffed to have hyper armor now
Night Mist
Comet/Night Comet
Ambush Shard
Magic Glintblade. Destroys the enemies AI and comboable into other spells
Collapsing Stars
Rock Sling
Ancient Death Rancor/Rancor Call
Eternal Darkness
And now the Moons since they got buffed to not take an eternity to cast

night comet and shard also get buffed by staff of loss, so they just become a stronger glintstone shard and comet

It has an actual use now because it got hyper armor and comes out faster. It doesn't deal as much damage as I would like(compared to Adula's) but it'll take out trash mobs easily

How much str/dex do you plan to have with your build? If you could spare at least 12 str and/or 17 dex I can't recommend the Estoc, Godskin Stitcher, Dark Moon GS, and Wing of Astel hard enough.
