Seems like the situation with the marriage patch is a bit more chaotic than I thought.
From what I can discern, there is no way how to make those two mods compatible right now. However, the retranslations adds some extra same-sex marriages, but definitely not as many as the other mod.
For now pick which one is more important for you, but I'd probably go with the retranslation mod.
I'll try to look into it a bit more if I can not figure it out.
