I hope we can send half of the party to attack the monster by the back because there is simply too many people. Sena is somehow hammering a monster while 60 feet away from it.

What f2p mobile game is this?

I see the fusion thing as a way around the gears problems in xg, but I'm not convinced it's so easily solved. Careful balancing is necessary.

Looks like hot slow garbage.

what's the tactics used for?
Will it be like Torna where you can chose to focus blade/driver combos?

I can't do it. I played the definitive edition and I loved it. But I can't sit through more of the same looking combat again.

Music sounds good. Not autistic enough about this series to parse out what looks different about the gameplay, but it’ll probably be solid

Hoping the button icons get changed up before release like XC2's were, I want to be able to turn off art names and still be able to recognise what they are

>Will it be like Torna where you can chose to focus blade/driver combos?
It's for focusing on fusion combos, focusing on a specific enemy, having your party return to you. And possibly letting you switch between party members as two of your party members names where selectable in the menu with the R and L trigger youtu.be/DchJf-vNMiY?t=1332

This game is going to be 320p and 24fps isn't it?

Nope, final, get use to just remembering what button you assigned to what for 6 characters.

Mixed feelings about the Fusion Mech forms, not convinced yet. But the regular fusing arts looks awesome especially if you can customize which one fuse with each other like it seems. Chain Attacks also look very dope.

Also if it's true that you can swap character mid battle like it seems to be that would be very neat, even if it is not a big focus.

Overall very hyped for the combat and annoyed that no one is disscussing it.

kneel before this

>Fusion arts that allow you to do the effects of both at once
I can't wait to see what happens when you combine 'driver' arts. Would Break and Topple just make it instantly Topple? What about hitting a Toppled enemy with Daze and Launch fusion?

>But the regular fusing arts looks awesome especially if you can customize which one fuse with each other like it seems.
It seems like you can choose any art from other classes that the character has learned. This is going to be the point of the affinity chart in this game, back to something like 1's.
>Become better friends with party, you unlock their class
>Equipping their class lets you gain class exp, which unlocks arts as class levels up
>Can use arts from other classes for art fusion. So Noah can use arts from Mio and Eunie's class at the same time, giving him access to a heal and an evade
Going to make for some seriously heavy customization if everyone gets like 10-12 arts from their class. It's honestly hard to say which characters I am going to give which classes first and everyone's playthrough should feel really different because of it.

Looks better than 2 maybe

I think the people fusing will force most end game fights to be 3 vs boss, so overworld will be easy with 6 ppl

>It all comes down to mecha spam again
Boring

I'm just glad there are no elements, I liked the combat of 2 but I tunnel vision a lot and it was just too much for my dumb brain, it would be great if buffs / debuffs are more important, FFXIII has a ton of flags but it is like the only way were buffing and debuffing was fun, important and didn't feel like a chore.

Nah, fusions seem like while they do a lot of damage, they are slow. We also don't know yet if there is a an actual danger to letting the meter get into overheat or not. It could end with the two dying, or at least being dazed. It feels more like Ouroboros are a situational transformation, more suited to trying to prevent some big damage if unable to Break/Topple, or is you need some instant major healing for the rest of the group, since we know that Eunie's has the AoE heal in a massive radius on damage.
I'm going to guess the 'best' plays are using Fusion arts to get Interlink level as high as possible. Transform for maybe 6 arts if the end game transformations even last that long and then cancel it to start building up again.

Well, hopefully you don't get tunnel vision again, because they seem to have made buffs super important and they are all position based. Buffs drop a circle you have to stand in to receive. So if you are playing the one that buffs, you'll need to think about the best place to drop it. If you have the buffs on others, you'll need to remember to watch out for them dropping it down.

You can do the same shit with any turn-based rpg

>singular enemy is level 18
>character levels are clearly much higher (20s or 30s, you intentionally blurred that shit to obfuscate things)
I'll give you an A for effort, you salty little fag.

getting it because like it or not this is one of the only alive jrpg series.

Oh nice so position based combat, sounds fun, reminds me of all the mobility you had to do with Monk in FFXIV before the rework.

as long as they don't do what Xenoblade Chronicles 2 did by still giving you combat tutorials/unlocks like 10 hours in.

Interesting...

Attached: 1650728057320.webm (1280x720, 2.23M)

Yup. Lots of positional based attacks again too. 2 had them, but not as many and because of the slow move speed even at max affinity when having weapons out, you lose way too much DPS moving into position. 3 seems to have a dash/dodge and you move around the same speed as 1. So positionals should be pretty good.
Dude, 1 had tutorials 10 hours in. Finally getting to Makna you not only get a tutorial for Melia, you get introduced to Spikes. It's just a staple of the game. Just when you think you are getting comfortable with the combat, a new element is introduced. The only thing they need is being able to review the tutorials.

Have you really never seen that webm before?

What does that matter. It's incorrect, regardless of how long it's been around.

>Doesn't know the context
>Gets mad anyway
Yep, it's Yea Forums

It looks like even at level 24 this Blant has at least 50k HP. They are doing at least 2k damage here and it's bar barely moves. Guess we will need some serious topple action to get those damage numbers up. Can't wait to see massive chain attack damage again.

So do characters have any differences? Like at all?

The context is that you're presenting XC2 as 'press button to win', which is incorrect.

It's not actually that, but keep pretending you know the context.

>Overdrive-ish system with Interlink
>Art canceling and button-based Art selection from 2
>Daze AND Launch (probably Smash too)
>Possibly mid-battle character swapping?
Looks like it'll be the best combat system yet, borrowing elements from all three previous games
I hope we get a combat challenge mode like 2

Attached: 1389161389097.png (419x580, 437.18K)

It's what fusion is. You combine an Art from both pallets together.

At least post the real webm

>It's incorrect
Not at all.

Now watch him be completely okay with this, not knowing it's from the same video.

Is that Dante from the Scalebound series?

i miss giga games

Looks like it will filter casual westaboos, who will then proceed to cry because they are too low iq to get the combat system, just like Xenoblade 2.
In other words, based.

I already see the complaints about enemies being sponges, based on the Mordow Blant footage.
>I've been sitting here for 20 minutes fighting this thing. I do like 500 damage with my arts and I'm spamming them as fast as I can and it just doesn't die. This combat sucks.
It will have turned out they removed their Break art from the pallet and they also don't use any fusion arts either. The salt will be real. Unfortunately it will also likely filter a bunch of journos too, expect the game to get a 78 on metacritic and of course for people to spam
>Oh no no no Xenosister, how could this happen? Imagine it without the Nintendo bonus

But Takahashi is a westaboo.
And why would westaboos play Xenoblade?
Is there even that big of a westaboo market to begin with? Xeno is barely popular with Otaku in Japan, let alone westaboos.

>LOOKS LIKE WE'RE WAY OUT OF YOUR LEAGUE!
>HOLD THAT THOUGHT! WE'RE GROWING MUCH STRONGER!
I'm looking forward to cacophonous mid-battle yelling kino.

Attached: 1451852648928.png (596x355, 379.25K)

Imagine being so schizo you spend time fantasizing about scenarios to get mad about in the future.

>6/7 party members all yelling at once
>Ouroboros filter effect making it hard to tell what they are saying and two voice at once
Man, I can't wait to hear the after party banter. I mean, imagine the dog piling. Sena and Lanz are going to have some of the best conversations, I can already see it. Sena will probably ask Lanz how much he can bench.

They got rid of the elemental shit so I'm happy, toppling was so stupidly obtuse in 2 compared to how simple and efficient it was in 1 so it's good daze is back too.

Is this UI a parody post?

I think it's an expansion on the "focus on target" thing from 2, essentially just a way to tell the AI to stop doing stupid shit.

Thoughts on this hypocrite cat?

Attached: 1650730159453.jpg (829x3022, 827.36K)

fuck off

The one part that really made me laugh when someone posted it here and I thought it was a joke UI like the XC2 webm is the chain attack overlay.

Attached: 2022-04-23 111319.png (1920x1080, 2.67M)

>toppling was so stupidly obtuse in 2 compared to how simple and efficient it was in 1
How? They're the same shit.

Who says she started it... Gormott's national sport is being conquered

Perhaps she's not talking about Keves? Or perhaps she did try to talk with them? Maybe the real enemy has convinced her that the world can't sustain the two, or the two peoples are fundamentally unable to live together and if they try to come together the world will be destroyed.
>If the two sides tried to live in peace, they will end up forming monsters when they find their other half, thus ensuring total destruction
I can see her deciding that the only way forward is to completely eradicate the other side, even if that bothers her. She's going to feel really bad if evidence is brought to her that she was tricked.

What are the chances that Takahashi is going to connect Gears, Saga and Blade in XC3?
I know there are characters in Saga who resemble Elly and Fei. Can you say without spoilers if they are connected to Gears?
Also how was Takahashi able to use KOS-MOS if she is from game made by another company?
SHE HAS BEEN CONTROLLED!!!

Attached: Elly.jpg (375x500, 36.97K)

People change

Not the same character, next

Because MUH NINTENDO EXCLUSIVE

democrats in 2008 vs democrats in 2022

>What are the chances that Takahashi is going to connect Gears, Saga and Blade in XC3?
0%
It'll probably reference some plot points, but all Xeno games do that.

The battle would have ended in 10 seconds if you had actually input other battle commands.

Need to change this ass boring gameplay for series to evolve.

Takahashi can get the rights to use Kos-Mos because he has a good relationship with Namco still. It was Namco that suggested he go with Nintendo and offered to sell Monolith. Getting the rights to use her just wasn't a big deal and because of the Blade system it made for a fun reference.

As for Saga and Gears, they are definitely not connected. The only thing that Takahashi would probably say is that they are similar stories that are all happening in a connected multiverse, because of the cyclical nature of things and the differences that exist in each universe with regards to their laws and such.

There are Japanese fans of American culture that like playing Nintendo exclusives only?
And they get mad at Xenoblade?

/pol/tard is here again.

it is objectively more exciting gameplay wise than most turn based jrpgs.

>fears
Its exactly like 2
>hopes
Its better than X
>What itll actually be
Worse than all of them because its so rushed

the report system needs a poling outside of /pol/ option, it would make this board so much better.

>The goal of the game is too win battles so fast you don't even have to experience the terrible gameplay

Wow, what a unique concept.

Play XC2, drivers + blades

did 2 not have a similar development time?

Play XC2

Attached: 08089.png (1587x883, 2.31M)

That's a lie.

>rushed
You have no idea how to spot a rushed game. This had a normal production cycle of 4 years. The game was in production from even before 2's final DLC came out.

What can change the nature of Man?

go back

None, Gears is an Square Enix copyright and they're so prissy even just getting Cloud and Sephiroth on Smash was a massive pain in the ass for Sakamoto (Sora too, plus Disney also being massive cunts) and they came with the lowest amount of character songs; Xenoblade 3 is also very obviously a new version of Gears so at this point bringing it back would feel redundant.

Saga is a Namco property which does play nicer with Nintendo and even allowed KOS-MOS to be put on Xenoblade 2 as a Blade but I doubt Takahashi would actually link Xenoblade to Xenosaga directly, mostly because Xenoblade is not a direct 1:1 recreation of Perfect Works so certain things wouldn't fit, X is also very likely the Xenoblade universe's version of Xenosaga 1 and 2 (Perfect Works 1).
