It isnt

it's comfy but has aged terribly

Man, FUCK the Blades!

Sorry, force of habit.

unplayable

>Vanilla skyrim
Awful quests, mediocre writing, bland story

>Skyrim modded with 650 mods
Awful quests, mediocre writing, bland story

Seems like its the same to me

good enough to sell more on consoles than on pc

this desu, everytime i wasted modding the game making it look pretty the game itself is shit

its fine like every 5 years for 30 or 40h

You get one mod, which one Yea Forums?

Only good for playing in VR where the piss stream spells can be independently aimed

literally impossible to pick one mod because even that mod might require other mod to be able to function

8/10.

I only play skyrim for the sex mods and EVERYONE WHO BOUGHT IT does it too.

Solid 7/10 game, the kind of game that is good enough for only one playthrough.

Better than most modern wrpgs

Vanilla is the only way to play. Modding games is the equivalent to announcing you have a 1 inch peen and no job

Change goat death sfx to human death sfx for all goats

Vanilla.
Skyrim doesn't have a Sim Settlements tier mod.

It's bad. Boring and bland and very badly balanced. Animations are dogshit.

One of the most soulless cash grabs and blatantly bad video games ever made

Great

CBBE

It still has a lot of nice quests, a shitload of books and funny glitches. Not a bad game. Standards went so low that I now respect Skyrim....

>dogshit combat
>dogshit balance
>dogshit character development
>dogshit AI
>dogshit stories outside of a couple (durr you're the chosen one of every daedra, you'll also become the leader of every guild that you join)
>dogshit unmodded waifus
>no khajiit waifus at all

it's great, but still shit compared to modded skyrim, so if given the choice why would you bother?

I package my current mod list into one file. ez.

>(durr you're the chosen one of every daedra, you'll also become the leader of every guild that you join)
was this your first elder scrolls game or something?

as good as modded, which is to say shit

Its an ok game, had potential to be one of the best game honestly. But bethsoft are too lazy in quest design and story writing.
Atleast the taverns are comfy though

user?

Very shallow and only good for a single playthrought

you can become the chosen of every daedra and the leader of every guild in every tes game, user. well, maybe not arena. I never played that one so I dunno.

Enderal

still the best game that has been made as of 23/04/2022

It literally has to be Sky UI. I forget it's even a mod since my mind cannot comprehend that the menus are actually so fucking bad without it.

How's Skyrim on switch? Vinny played it for hours, why? Is it prime streamer bait because of the glitches alone?

>Skyrim on switch
why would you do that to yourself?

It's decent, not the best game ever made and something to base your entire personality around like redditors make it out to be. Mods make the game worse, 98% of mods are dumb meme shit like shrek and thomas the tank engine and poorly made porn mods.

bad, but unless you know all the mods that improve it you won't miss out on anything

>No mods
>Can't play as the fattest fucking breasted Argonian slut and resolve every quest by bending over and taking the cocks of everything from Redguards to dogs to Draugr
Instant 0/10.

It's not really skyrim if you can't get fucked by everything that moves.

like a 7/10

What’s the point if you’re going Vanilla? There are open world RPGs with better combat [NieR Automata, Xenoblade X, Elden Ring Genshin] and better stories [Witcher 3, New Vegas, NieR Automata, again] out there.

I remember playing vanilla Skyrim on my PS3 without exploits. It was a pretty fun game overall. Exploration, dungeons, quests and I can just run around.

did chuck make a homophobic joke again?

Skyrim is the only good open world RPG for self-insertion/character creation. Also the Mojave sucks ass as an open-world map.

>When the only reason you want TES VI is because it would lead to a massive new wave of Argonian girl porn

>better stories
>Witcher 3
>woman saves the world by screaming
lmao, are you for real?

>woman saves world by screaming
Do you know what the main gimmick in Skyrim is?

Not having half the quests using batman vision, thats for sure

that just helps, it isnt the main thing you do or the most powerfull. You still have to do other things. And the one who saves the world is man by defaulth. Also it is explained, it isnt just magick lmao.
In the witcher the woman literally just screams and all of her enemies run or die.

>literally required to use Dragonrend in both Alduin fights

Because Skyrim has the best open world and best aesthetic of all of them. Also

>Xenoblade
>good combat
That shit plays itself. Utter shit

i wanna say SexLab but the default animations are shit.
but if we are disregarding mod dependencies, either Baka's Sexlab Defeat or Deviously Cursed Loot

unless the game just came out, i would never fucking play an unmodded version of any elder scrolls game
what would be the point? have a lesser experience?

>plays itself
It’s more akin to RTw/P or tab-targeting, which requires a lot of strategy.

It’s very very bad. Skyrim is a shitty game that’s only redeemable with 30+ mods.
Only normies can play this shit and think it’s fine.

that is the first fight with alduin.
And there is a reason for it.
And it is something you do so you could do other stuff, not a fucking nuke that makes all enemies dissapear.

I've played through Skyrim 5 times, vanilla every time. It has the best music, sound effects, and visual design of any open world game. They don't call him Jeremy SOULe for nothing. Nothing comes close to feeling of playing Skyrim. It's easily in my top 5 of all time and the best open world of any game. I have not even considered installing a single mod.

based

I literally ONLY play vanilla Skyrim.
I always feel like using mods is cheating, so I prefer to play games as originally intended.
I have played maybe 100 hours using mods compared to over 7000 hours vanilla.
