XIV. I had fun enough with ARR but it's an absolute boring slog going into HW so I stopped. Also the fanbase is full of faggots and trannies. The spergiest type of people who you never want to be caught in any social situation with, yet somehow are absolutely full of smug ego and rat brained intellect. XIV players want you to believe it's some culturally relevant marvel of a game when it's really just trash peddled to retards.

FF13 is great if you are willing to use it's mechanics. It's main flaw is that it allows you to turtle through the game making every fight last 30 minutes at least.

yea probably FFXIII. I tried playing it twice and could never seem to finish it. Linear and final fantasy games dont go together. FF7 remake was also guilty of this but it broke up the pacing a bit better.

Unironically, try Lightning Returns. It's more free form and less linear.

FFXIII's linearity serves the story.

Nah, 2 hate is greatly overstated by people who never played it. 2 is decent if a bit broken, but then again all mainline FF games are broken to some degree so its unfair to single it out, and is still one of the better games for the platform, and paved the way for many future games with its usage based progression system.
