I don't remember any of that. Maybe because i played undertail back in 2016. Back when this pronouns thing wasn't spammed and forced everywhere so i didn't notice or care.

Both the Undertale and Deltarune MC are meant to be ambiguous gender so you can self insert, though to me they both look pretty male and it's a stretch to think of them as girls.

So you MC in Undertale also has no canon gender, but the game generally only had monsters refer to you as "human" or just by saying you, they only start saying they late in the game in a few textboxes
Its different in Deltarune because there's way more character interaction since its a party-based game, its honestly not that bad but it is like probably in 5-10 textboxes so far if that's too much for you, usually they refer to Kris as Kris
A worse thing is there's a retread of Undyne and Alphys but with two other characters and it seems to be way more plot relevant, I can see it not panning out though but I'd give it like an 80% chance it happens

Same, I was in the middle of typing about how Alphys thought she created the DT machine and the lab stuff and the thread 404'd.
Anyway, my guess is that when Gaster accidentally the whole CORE, Alphys found herself in the lab where she knew what everything was and how it worked... but there was nobody else but her who could've made it. So, her brain would've conjured up false memories about making it, except even then she's not 100% sure about why it works or the science behind it.

The reality is that there is a gigantic cult of greyscale gaster followers that hide in plain sight, and the are helping gaster, sans, and alphys orchestrate the entirety of the events of deltarune. They used "satanic" video game magic to summon a player, lose control of you, and you end up deleting the world. the player will assume they are evil due to appearances, but the true ending reveals that they are benevolent good guys. There, that's deltarune's twist.

The twist is that rouxls gets yeeted by the machine and turns into what we all assume is gaster, as a misdirection, and the real gaster is actually a skeletal goat monster just like he's depicted in the gaster blaster.

The only problem with your theory is that alphys never claims she invented the DT extractor, in fact she mentions that she built it by following blueprints. The only character who also has blueprints is sans, a character she has a very close friendship with despite never meeting in-game and even leaves papyrus confused

Shouldn't drop tower be blue? Imagine having to keep on elevator platforms as the ride goes up, switching between them to avoid obstacles (which would admittedly be similar to the pet segments from Muffet's purple heart fight). Then once you reach the top, the box extends infinitely vertically both up and down. Your blue heart starts at the top of the box, but gets put into freefall and you have to avoid bullets and walls like those segments in Megaman 2 or I Wanna Be The Guy
