He's not bad. Just a mixed back and completely overshadowed (rightfully so) by Zach.

Lyle can't joke without saturating it with layers of obvious irony. Really pay attention to how he roleplays a bit vs Zach. Zach just says insane shit without the slightest hint of irony in his voice until he cracks, but Lyle has to do this over-exaggerated sarcastic voice that feels like it was lifted straight out of the Smosh era of internet comedy. He just doesn't mesh well with Zach and Chris. I think he's fine with Tomar since Tomar can be a good buffer and straight man.

I like Lyle and Zach but Lyle and Tomar are so fucking boring. I have nothing against Tomar I think he’s a great VA and respect him but I find him extremely boring even as the “straight man”.

I always disliked how much Ding Dong exaggerated that clip. The puppet is just sitting still with a thousand hard stare, says poggers, nods, and goes back to doing nothing. Everything he says, from the puppet "looking around" to "feel out the room" and the shit about panting after is completely off. It's funny if you've never actually seen the clip itself, but I don't know what dingdong is smoking.

OG crew has the best chemistry by a wide margin but I like plenty of the later guys too, especially Adam

Yeah, I guess. The ding dong losing his mind over it is a pretty funny bit. I guess I was just disappointed how innocuous the actual clip turned out to be by comparison. It's a bizarre moment, but nowhere near as insane as dingdong makes it out to be.
