Why does Japan get such kino cover art for a western game?
I saw the coverart of some arcade shooter that had a biplane flying away from a massive t-rex and I thought it was the coolest cover art I've ever seen but I don't remember the name of the fucking game.
Weebs typically like >le epic staring off into the distance
Better than >le epic walking toward the camera
U wot m8?
I remember staying at bros house for the weekend and we rented this game soley because it had face booba on the box.
My favorite of all time. I hung up the poster from the DS version on my wall

the ico movie starring ben shapiro
Unironically trying to appeal to retarded burgers like myself. Didn't work.
Whoa, did you guys cum?
I would kill for a good edit of the Ico US cover where the white girl is replaced with A Bee Movie Jerry Seinfeld.
speaking of seinfeld
youtube.com
That was amazing. Thank you.
I always forget about this game. I loved it as a kid
>Japanese box art is always better
I never had it, but my neighbor did, and it looked fun!
>pic doesn't include a black guy's hand
moot holding Einhander
As a /pmg/ fag I love Wario World's Japanese cover art. It looks like a big bullion bar.
Neat thing with Wario World is as far as I know it's the only Japanese gamecube game to have a unique left spine. Since they use a slipcover all Japanese Gamecube games have two spines: An ornate, decorated one on the right side with text (like a standard US or PAL gamecube spines) and on the left side they have a plain white spine with a unified text font across all games. Think PAL PS2 Games or the vast majority of switch games. But on the plain white side Wario World uses the gold coloring scheme to stay faithful to the bullion bar design. It even uses the same text font as the standardized designs do, but it gold. It's really neat.
The best
We've all seen the old guy playing the Banjo on the North American release of "Phalanx" countless times now. But how many of you have seen the happy old guy on this Super Famicom Pachinko game?
Some people shit on this one but I love it.
I hate being a euro peasant
too bad the game is generic trash
What game?
We Love Katamari
it's so close at being a total ripoff it's insane
>DOJ
Based, absolute kino cover.
dios mio... la abomanacion...
I just finished this one in photoshop
Pal box art is just a shitty trace of the Japanese version wtf
PSX and Saturn covers are still unparalleled.
I really like the art for Einhander and Tokyo Jungle there.
But that art for DoDonPachi DaiOuJou is so fucking good its unreal.
Who is the artist?
Ever since I was a kid I always thought America got the short end of the stick when it came to video game box art.
The only thing Japan messes up on in box art is neglecting the spines of their game cases. Almost always plain white with black text.
Fuck you’re right, that’s way cooler than my old copy.
Nips get all the cool art
Looking out toward infinite possibilities
vs
Walking menacingly toward the camera.
Seriously fucking kino.
Just makes me want to explore it all.
Japanese takes on typically very western settings are absolute fucking kino.
Westerns, western fantasy, all of it.
never could get comfortable pooping like that
I wonder what moots up to these days.
