also if you know if a sites asks for money once they have the figure, people usually cancel around that time and you can refresh a page and eventually get one at preorder price.

Not him, but I can confirm it is the norm. Pretty much every statue, figure, or model kit I buy never has any leftover on the site after the pre-orders ship.

Hard lesson learned for me.

Another buyfriend, yeah most companies don't try to make more than what is pre-ordered. Your best bet now is to lurk sites like Amiami or MFC and check for pre-owns. Lots of people sell pre-owns brand new because they decided they didn't actually want the fig after they got it, and it *usually* sells around the pre-order price. If you wait too long then that initial wave will pass by and you'll be really stuck with after-market prices.

I think her "sister" Grim Aloe wasn't going for absurd prices so she may be fine but yeah, just my experiences
