the one on the left isn't the race. it's a magical visage the actual race takes to fit in with mortals. the one on the right is the race itself, unoriginal cosplay girl with ugly tacked on plastic scales.

the one on the left will likely have ways to make it look actually decent, such as removing all the scales and trihard horns and such to better fit how dragons usually make their mortal forms look.

I always played with a controller because that's how I played FFXI, and it's amazing how well XIV is designed around it. For sure some of the menu navigation is better with KB+M, but then I just take one hand off the controller. Certain things are still better with the controller, like moving lots of items between windows or mass selling things.

not really, they have had to rework/butcher/remove abilities because they were too hard for controller players to use effectively, when K&M players had no such issues

The one I posted I did use for raiding back in stormblood. I don't have a screenshot of the UI for it but it's mostly the same as in the webm except I don't have party lists in the middle for pve. pvp hotbars are much easier to set up since I don't need to use WXHB to get both actions and communication assigned.
