It's likely that the model of Jam that dataminers found was just left over test data from Xrd. Just like how the base story mode was a preview of upcoming DLC characters (or more like cut content in the form of Goldlewis, Jack-O, and Chaos), the Another Story will likely tease Delilah and Johnny as the next DLC. Considering that May and April are confirmed to appear and they're probably in the Mayship, it makes sense that Johnny isn't too far off.

Much like with Goldlewis, Jack-O, Chaos, and Asuka, it's fair to assume that if they put in the effort to design, model, and animate such a unique looking character for the story, then they're probably going to be DLC. I'm a little surprised that Asuka didn't make the cut, although Baiken was a massive fan favorite and Testament was an "out of left field" choice, even if he was teased in the credits when the game first came out. Anyway, Bedgirl is a sure thing, and I'd expect to see Johnny in the story as well.

Delilah will definitely fill that role.

Like how Happy Chaos is supposed to be "The Original" super mage with wacky ass powers and mind control he shows off in the story, but then it's just "Happy Chaos's special move is Gun" like some shitty knockoff Rifle Elphelt. Presentation aside, Chaos is easily the most underwhelming character when it came to gameplay in a long time.

Im sure even they realize that and thats why they might keep Asuka for S3. Im not going to be suprised if this pass will focus on returning characters so we will get 4 returning characters because Delilah is basically a Bedman with cunny anyways.

I always just assumed the first wave of DLC would complete the Missing Link cast considering every initial character was in the cast and the three hidden characters Baiken, Testament and Justice would appear later like how you had to unlock them originally.
Though Justice being dead would be replaced with Jack-O due to the Aria connection but that's how I assumed it anyway when I saw the initial roster.
