Could any of you anons give me your opinion on which version is better for the emulation guide?
FE Awakening emulation in Citra has one drawback.
There is no proper fix for ghosting which comes from rendering the game at higher resolutions than the native. Or rather, there is a fix, but it makes the whole game a lot darker but only during ingame cutscenes.
So it's either:
>accepting some ghosting but keeping nicer colours
>making Robin have a chronic depression
I can not decide which options is better. For me, I do not exactly mind the ghosting if the trade off is keeping the nicer colours.

I'm assuming that, this being a spin-off, it will have more of a focus on gameplay and less on story. And when the actual story-focused game, Three Houses, had Byleth and his black hole of a personality, I'm guessing Shez is gonna be even worse in terms of that.

Custom bases, base building, online play with people raiding your base and you can raid other peoples bases. This would be a huge revenue stream for them but I doubt they'll do that. Instead they'll just continue with FEH and their stupid gatcha garbage.

To be fair, Byleth's premise did have some potential. If she/he had developed some character gradually through the story, particularly since the Sothis fussion, it would have been okay. Unfortunately the devs didn't pull it off, and Byleth being mute was the cherry on top. Maybe they've learned from that, since Shez is not mute at the least.

It's still weird to me that Robin and Corrin were customizable avatars but had distinct personalities and character voices distinct from whatever preconceptions the player might have had, and Byleth has one canonical design but is a mute self-insert vehicle.

Hope it goes all into the fanservice and doesn't take itself too seriously. Personally, I was never huge into the Warriors style of gameplay. But the game looks/could be still fun to play so long as there's a heaping helping of fan service.
