Comfy switch thread

Word of advice about Child of Light. It's runs like shit on Switch.
It's bearable but it feels awful to play even if it's an RPG.

I've had it on the Wii U for years, but never got to it. Is that version good?

I'm playing Kirby and Darkest Dungeon. Waiting on two of my top 5 games of all time to come out. Advance Wars 2 and ZHP, it'll be a comfy summer.

Picked up Ring Fit Adventure today, gonna get FEW2 in June, really hyped. Playing FE3H and Animal Crossing lately, but been meaning to put time into Triangle Strategy. Life's busy lately

Threw out my Switch to get the superior Steam Deck. Honestly, i barely use my Switch, the Deck has been incredible if you love portables. I dont even think the Switch 2 will come to matching this quality honestly because they make closed platforms.

When are people going to admit that the Switch's hardware was actually really good for it's price point in 2017?

Yeah, and I would argue its a much better investment considering the cheaper games + openess of it. Having built in voice chat should have been standard.

The Switch was never good hardware man. It was a recycled chip that Nvidia was selling for cheap due to the Shield doing poorly.

And yes, the deck has amazing performance for most games.

Surprinsigly yes.
Apparently they did a really bad job of porting the game because both Switch and Xbox have some trouble mainting 60fps.
Wii U has some framedrops but it's nowhere near as bad as switch for some reason.
I wish someone had made a video comparing the Switch version. I don't have it installed anymore to show you guys what I'm talking about.

Don't get me wrong, the game is good. But the framedrops are certainly distracting.

Definitely GrimGrimoire. It's the only Vanillaware game I have never at least tried, so I'm pretty excited for it. XBC3 looks good, too.

I had credit to my local game store and bought Octopath Traveler thinking it was Triangle Strategy. I played through a prologue chapter because why not before returning it and holy shit this game is mediocre.

November - December is probably reserved for Pokemon, and if Bayo was going to release in October we would've had at least a scrap of news.

A trailer and the sports game wasn't shown until Jan so showing a trailer in June may mean a release in October
