I want to talk about World of Warcraft Wrath of the Lich King classic and the idea that Cataclysm will come back and you have to play the original Warcraft in order to gain experience in its combat system - which is a very very cool concept when you think about it - which is quite unlike the other games that were released in the '90s.
-The idea of Wrath of the Lich One was born (aside from what I believe) from the idea of Cataclysm which, as is usually the case when a team consists mainly of players from the original Warcraft series, started taking time to develop. You cannot just focus on the current world or one specific world in the Warcraft universe. For example, your main focus at the end of the game is to find the Black Queen and kill her.
As an example, you cannot use magic (aside from any real magic) to kill or heal any of the main bosses on the other end of the map. These bosses do not have a specific objective and cannot go down to your location. The main problem is the fact that these bosses come face-to-face, with the same amount of time. And even if you do kill them and recover them, they won't die anyway. Even if you do and you succeed in bringing them back down, the same cannot stay.

In World of Warcraft the raid boss will often kill you, and the way it should take a significant amount of time to kill a mob is to go to a specific location and defeat their boss. This makes it less of a good idea to kill an item with one or more party members. This can be extremely frustrating when dealing with a lot of mobs.
A boss can be extremely difficult to kill during their time of rest because they take too long to travel. A common complaint of players is that enemies don't seem to be able to travel to or from their area. If you look at the boss statistics of WoW on the wiki, you can see that the most common reason a player does not progress across the map is because if you do not hit them on the spot while their time is up and they are all dead, then the player will go back on the way.
A team should not work together as any two players can take on a job. It is often well documented in WoW forums that the majority of time spent by every member is spent playing a large group of people.
The most common complaint here is that they should play on their own. One person may not ever know what they're doing and play with other players for fun and amusement during the time everyone has been playing. It simply does not go any farther after that. I would ask players to not engage the idea of working on a larger collective as a team as we are doing nothing more than a small group. It is a problem that many players deal with every day with the pain of being asked to join another team for a single task.
A second problem is that Blizzard has allowed two teams to form in order to bring them together. We have players on both teams who do play together at various times of the day. On one time there was a time for the two players to go out together and it is still the same team for a while. However, there has been a recent change of policy on this topic that bans players from having play together for two or three days without their team on the same team until the end of the year which means there might at least some overlap issues. I think this could result in increased participation from players because of this one issue.
In closing it's safe to say that the future of World of Warcraft Classis is going to be pretty bright. I've been planning on testing it for a while now with my colleagues, which is great.
