Finally beat CS a few weeks ago. Was actually quite fun with Arsenal but very janky ofc.

Then I did a playthrough of SoC using MotZ mod, my first go with that OGSR engine. It was okay, decently fun until the ending where I encountered a game-breaking bug during the 'platforming' sequence and gave up.

I've played countless hours of SoC, Call of Chernobyl, Anomaly and am yet to finish all three of them. The closest I ever got is reaching the Chernobyl NPP but I ran out of ammo and got filtered

I attempted to give analmeme a try because I'm into sandboxes, then I saw my starting pistol fire with literally zero recoil, producing a flash that looks like a slowly powering lightbulb, with a gunshot sound that was probably recorded on Vasyan's Nokia in his gradma's cellar. Laughed my ass off and deleted on the spot.

I did and they're boring as fuck games. Anomaly is decent but still as boring.

Started CS but put it on hold aroung Agroprom.
Now playing through Call of Pripyat, enjoying it a lot, close to endgame, though.

Only SoC and CoP because the CS has a terrible endgame. Retardedly hard and terribly designed with a horrible checkpoint system. So bad that I relegated it to my "crap" category on steam.

Clear Sky before mods is unplayable janky shit that makes the Zone feel more like a place where literally anything can happen. Mods fix a lot of problems, but having bandits spawn on top of you, and shotgun you through a wall, really captured that "reality is breaking down."
