I also personally think that more people has woken up to the fact that buying consoles at or close to launch is retarded since it will take atleast 2 years before a game comes along that will be worth playing on it no matter what system you buy.

a ps5 in my country is 600+ euro. That is more than enough to get me a pc with 16 gigs of ram,motherboard,cpu(1600 or something better),hdd,psu and a gtx 1060. wich is more than enough to play any game and make it look better than a console.(market starts to slowly stabilise)

I don't regret my PS5 purchase because the upgrade from my launch PS4 alone was worth it, but the lack of exclusives is definitely a major bummer. Thought for sure we'd have gotten more by this point. I still think Returnal is excellent and I actually enjoyed Rift Apart, but those are the only two games I've liked on PS5 that I couldn't have gotten elsewhere. No interest in nigger Spiderman or the Demon Souls rehash. Astro's Playroom is great, but it's a pack-in and decidedly not a system seller.

The reason they're sitting there in the first place is likely because they've already been marked up.

My RX 6700XT cost $550 by itself and it's only now that I feel I have a PC that's better than my PS5. Honestly, when I hook them both up to my PC, it's rare that I can see the difference, except when console games use heavy resolution scaling like in SOP.

PS5 is the hardcore system. Any casual can walk into a store and buy Switch Xbox but PS5 you have to really want it and be dedicated to find it. Because it doesn't have Mario Kart or gamepass, you have to actually buy games for $70 with real depth and challenge like Returnal and Demons souls, they sold under a million. There are way more people buying Xbox and Switch for Fortniteand Fifa,

Differences are easly seen on xbox one/s/s era games. Good luck playing ghost recon wildlands with no input lag and optimised textures for example. High demanding games will not look as good as pc ports. There are cases where they optimise the console ports or make the pc ports intentionally bad (watch dogs for the latter and elden ring for the first one).
Honestly it sucks that pc parts are not as cheap everywhere anymore
