Mine comes in the mail today. First thing I'll do is install witcher 3 and transfer my save from the switch version. Playing it at 1280*800 on a handheld is gonna be sweet. Gonna try doom 2016 too, I expect a night and day difference with the switch version, as impressive a it was.

The index is a great vr set, what more would there be to discuss? VR is still somewhat niche.

I'm Q3 so I'm waiting still, but I'm gonna be playing a lot of Deep Rock and RoR2 on it. Maybe some CoD Zombies

are you talking about them making it f2p? they do this for all their online games, tf2, csgo etc. I guess it kinda sucks but it just keeps the games alive, I don't see how that is a scam. if you thought it was worth paying money for then you can't really complain if you bought it.

To be fair, I only bought a switch because it was the only reasonably priced handheld that could play these games. Plus, these ports really pushed the switch, so I think they're a good test to gauge how much more powerful the deck really is.

Because it was the only reasonably priced handheld that can play these games at the time. I couldn't justify dropping 700+ on any of the handheld PCs from GPD and such. 399 for a deck is a steal given the hardware, it's not much more expensive than an OLED switch, which I was considering.

I'm the same, I just got it for handheld ports. steamdeck is much better for that because I don't have to rebuy every game or wait for ports anymore.

I buy whatever hardware runs the game I want to play. Only reason I got a 3ds before that was because it had monster hunter, which was what made me get a PSP before that.
