Which one will beat Elden Ring?

It will be Starfield, or Hogwarts (It's a dark horse, trust me)

I feel like this is bait, but I unironically loved Plague Tale. It was a solid blend of a character driven story and horror themed puzzle elements.

Of the images you posted only Starfield has any soul. It's probably going to be as shitty as Fallout 4 was, only more empty

I expect modders to flock to Starfield if bethesda still keeps modability as a prime feature, which they would definitely do. This is will give Starfield a substantial staying power on that alone. Todd Howard and his endless Skyrim releases aren't memes for no reason.
As for retention based on vanilla work, thats debatable. Skyrim is a favorite among normies, and Fallout 4 a bit less but still somewhat of a success, so perhaps Starfield will do well.

None of them will have good gameplay. God of War will come closest, but it will still have that western action game jank and too many forced cutscenes/walk-and-talks.

I think Elden Ring will remain king but I could potentially see God of War or Starfield winning out. Elden Ring is babby's first souls game so its seen as innovative even though we've been playing it for over a decade now. Good game but journalists are massively overrating it.

God of War is a sequel though and the first one already won GOTY so that lessens its winning potential but its also the Norse saga finale so if the story is really good I can see critics liking it. Gameplay is serviceable.

Starfield we still don't know much about it, and it could end up like the Outer Worlds or Fallout 4. Todd said its going to be a more RPG mechanic heavy game which would make journalists cry. Might become the next Skyrim though so who knows. Plus its "free" on gamepass so that will give it some bonus points already.

Stray is going to be a short-ish walking sim like game so I dont think it has a chance.

Plague Tale was good but I think its still going to be janky enough to get knocked down. It's not at the quality level of God of War, Elden Ring, or Starfield (i think). Really good for a AA game though.

Forspoken won't win lets be honest here. Story sounds kind of bland and so does the action. Hope they prove me wrong.

Hogwarts looks pretty good and will sell a lot but something about it doesn't look like GOTY material to me. Not really sure why though. I really hope it ends up like Bully with a sandbox world and decent plot.

Imagine thinking Todd's masterpieces can even be compared to the works of mortal men.

Plaguetale will fade into nothingness like the first game

Ragnarok and Starfield. Ragnarok will be a much more accessible, normie friendly game for the over the shoulder gameplay, Norse setting and cinematic aspect the new GoW games have adapted. Starfield is Bethesda, at this point they could murder 1000 newborns on live TV and people would buy their games, same as Blizzard. Its also open world and there hasn't been a new IP from them in decades.
