If you could revive one dead series with a Switch only sequel, what would you pick?

Why did you post this again?

>600k PC
Based Japanese PCchads actually buying video games, if only snoys would do the same..

>In September 2021, it was announced that 13 Sentinels had sold 200k copies in Japan

Today there has been a bunch of snoy seething threads today, what happened? Why are Snoys so angry today?
Also kirbo still on top.

>Only 10k miserable ps5 consoles sold
>PS5 getting outsold by Xbox in Europe and U.S

>Eiyuden Chronicle Rising, Pac-Man Museum+, Digimon Survivez Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Mario Strikers, Splatoon 3 are coming out on Switch for the following months, PS5 doesn't have ANYTHING

WHAT THE FUCK WENT WRONG WITH SONY? Cory Balrog implied that God of War Ragnarok is getting delayed to next year

As a hardcore Snoy, it makes me sad to see how Americans ruined this company.

They have been going ballistic, specially spamming Xenoblade 3 threads, I think it releasing with booba and early broke them.

I just want to play Kid Icarus Uprising with actual controllers.

Because kirbo still on top

Bloodborne 2

>Japan sales: Persona 5 900,000, Persona 5 Royal 400,000, Shin Megami Tensei V 190,000

Oh wow, 13 Sentinels had a great launch for a port.

So with Xenoblade 3 getting bumped up to July that pegs Splat3 in June or August right?

Xenoblade 3 releasing early broke me too It messed up my entire schedule, dammit!

Persona 5 didn't sell 5900000 in japan alone, do you know how to read?

I'm surprised that more companies don't make those fitness games. Seems like an easy market to get into and there are a lot of casual gamers that would like that kind of stuff on the Switch

He’s brazillian user, of course he can’t

Maybe even September, which was Xenoblade's original launch window. There is still the question as to when Nintendo will feel comfortable releasing Advance Wars too.

It's a good start but given it's not mostly sold out, looks like they've overestimate the number of people interested. Granted, it could be a situation where they're relying on legs and overstocked to carry over week to week like Kirby.

Surely the logical assumption would be that it got moved to September where XC3 originally was?

Isn't it cheaper if you buy it directly from PSN? It was like $10

They can’t handle all the Xenoblade/switch discussions.

The only news they have is that they’re getting ads in games

Maybe a new Mario game? With the movie coming out and everything it seems like the obvious thing

You sure like to make assumptions about a game without a confirmed launch window

Attached: 1567435994816.png (750x609, 1.22M)

>Mario Party Superstars - 938,117

Do you think it will reach the million copies sold?

Attached: 1650593996810.jpg (696x392, 189.13K)

To be fair, it's a VN but also an RTS from what I've read so that's going to be a hurdle to jump.

Holy shit that green, what happened i thought GTA was one of the few AAA western games japan liked

Predictions for NPD? I'm expecting a big meltdown

Xbox apparently had their biggest month ever in March and it's extremely likely that it comes out in first place

There's also Kirby, and it will most likely smash records.

Fun fact, Sony hasn't revealed or published Horizon Forbidden West sales, they usually do it after a few months of its release, have the feeling that it underperformed.

Sony is Dead.

Americans killed it.

Attached: 1650594156048.webm (720x1280, 2.82M)

Everyone's fucking played it by now and I highly doubt many Japs care about grinding GTA Online.

>Predictions for NPD?
Isn't that coming out next week?

I think they were somehow expecting it to sell as much as the original release, which is kinda disturbing in its own way.

Then why do Americans still buy it?

Why are you getting defensive about people speculating when the game might launch? Are you okay?

Salty says it did bad

People literally buy copies for the free shark card money.

I'm still thinking Switch is going to come out on top. Granted XBox could have a stellar month but I just don't see how it can be first without, you know, games.

why is ps5 struggling?

The game has a "Summer 2022" launch window you fucknugget

Splat 3 is gonna sell absolute gangbusters, and they likely need a new fy q3 heavy hitter with botw2 pushed back, so I'm gonna actually guess delayed until october

Don't worry. Neptunia PS exclusive launched today and is the most epic JRPG of all time.

I think this title will turn things around for the PS5 next week and will represent a paradigm shift in the industry.

>20. [PS4] Gran Turismo 7 – 1,834 / 108,652
Was trashing a legacy IP worth it?

>Chip shortage
>Scalpers
>Lack any worth while exclusive
>Sony focusing on Gaas
>also the price

The shark cards that come with a new copy are literally cheaper than the microtransaction version when the game is on sale

lmao that and Konami changing its name to Not Being Bought By Sony corp.

>but I just don't see how it can be first without, you know, games

>5. [NSW] Battle Spirits: Connected Battlers – 10,764 / NEW
>27. [PS4] Battle Spirits: Connected Battlers – 1,438 / NEW
wew

CH is really sticking with Sony till the very end

Too big.

Because by design it wasn't made to be a replacement for the PS4, at least not until years in. And that was a bad move.

This is ATLUS after all. For every good choice they make, there's a bullet in a toe.

Classic soulful Puyo Puyo died for this garbage

The switch seems to be slowing down a bit in sales now. I wonder how long until one of the newer gen consoles beats it

I would get that for PC instead of buying a new console.

I long for the day a Neptunia game is talked about like this completely unironically.

Attached: 86979651_p0.png (3716x4346, 1.68M)

They've made it very obvious they were sony fanboys from the start.

I dunno, man. NMH3, DP2, etc. were all kind of disappointing, NEO TWEWY, Brigandine, etc bombed. I wanted another Trauma Center, but maybe it's better off dead.

Yes, now they can shut down another JP studio

sure why not ?

Then they need to start giving it away for free just like the first one lel

Brand new Rhythm Heaven.

Keep in mind, Sony has literally zero (0) games dated for the rest of the year.

That sounds like fanboy cope

That wouldn't make sense. The cost of putting it on Switch is nowhere near developing the game.
Anyway they already have another Switch game coming up in Grimgrimoire. This will be a simultaneous launch with the PS version so we'll see which one wins out here. I'm guessing Switch Grimgrimoire will still win even with the handicap of Xenoblade 3 releasing the same day.

Attached: July 28th.jpg (4796x1480, 1.39M)

It's not like is a doomish kind of assumption. As you said, we don't have a release window, and now Nintendo has it's schedule for September wide Open.

And people on this threads still claim third party games don't sell on switch.
Holy christ this is such a big difference reminds that is impressive how well 13 sentinels is doing considering is a late port for context of another vanillaware port.
>Dragon's Crown (PS3/Vita) 184,537
>Dragon's Crown Pro (PS4) 9,759

VS

>13 Sentinels NSW, 27k.
>13 sentinels PS4, 34k.

Not bad at all

Attached: Sam.jpg (739x415, 23.53K)

There's Digimon Survive this day too.
Kino day for Jap games.

I'm just saying that they were expecting a 2 year old port where everything had been spoiled to sell as much as it was as a new release. I'm not even sure if I should call that naïve or delusional.

2M Zelda Switch retail.

It's actually impressive, by far the best selling Zelda game there, counting the two versions and digital.

how much will XB3 chart in first week

It's true though. GoW Ragnarok is a tentative 2022. Spider-man 2 and Wolverine are 2023.

Why are we calling 13 Sentinels' sales great? The PS4's opening performance was considered a flop. It was because of the word of mouth the sales picked up and turned it into a commercial success. The Switch debut was less than the PS4 version. Yes, it's a port but the Switch dominates the Japanese market unlike the PS4.

I don't doubt the sales will pick up and the game will find success on the Switch (and I'll be sure to pick it up once I forget what I got spoiled on), but we're lowering the bar quite a bit calling its opening Switch sales "amazing". If anything, I'd say it's "on par" or "expected" if I were one to have predicted X opening sales numbers.

Probably not too high since Japan has this weird pricing policy where games like XB3 are sold at $80+. They would need the vouchers again for it to sell gangbuster.

>Winning post 9?

maybe?
blog.ja.playstation.com/2022/04/08/20220408-downloadranking/

>GoW Ragnarok is a tentative 2022
Tha is if it doesn't get delayed again

knowing "that" user, he'll claim it's "a game no one cares"

Wolverine is 2024+

13s isn't some AAA game. I mean, it's a VN with very 'minimalistic' graphic. By all means, it's an indie game in all but name. It selling 27k at $60 is quite good.

See

Waiting for this hilarious cherry picking user.
Look at him use SRW T when SRW 30 sold better on Switch by the time this was posted

Famitsu threads are like highschool leagues, you dont go to see the match, you already know how will win, you go to see the dads fight over their team.
Seeing everyone Seeth (mostly PS fan currently), is the highlight of my week

Another shit week for Cuckbox, oh well

Are you retarded? 60-80 first week is the aim.

Bruno Velazquez (a Mexican guy working as animation director) says it's coming out this year

twitter.com/brunovelazquez/status/1516797475645911042?t=lA49UT0fyxSsBYnJhUFlOQ&s=19

But I think it will be inevitably delayed

Me to I usually play a game and watch a show while browsing these threads
