There is zero magic in replaying a sandbox like BOTW multiple times since the design of the game makes the travel generic so you finish any quest at any time. OoT and Majora's Mask and even ALttP are more interesting to replay for me. They are designed more linearily yet every run I play turns different.

why? I get easily frustrated when my progress gets halted in a game, 90% of the time it's because I missed something earlier, an item or some NPC trigger event. I probably would have dropped some zelda games if I didn't check out a walkthrough at certain points.

I literally played OoT last fucking week. You go back to Kakariko (at Navi's suggestion if you haven't already) and Bongo Bongo escapes the well and knocks you unconscious. Then Shiek teaches you the Nocturne of Shadow when you come to and flat-out tells you "this lets you into the Shadow Temple". There's no way to go back to Kakariko and NOT learn the song, and what, you're going to learn the song that leads to a new temple and then NOT play it? Are you dense?
