Comfy Switch Thread: Port Edition

I'm playing this again on my Switch and I gotta say it's so cozy chilling out playing this shit in handheld. Any other games that greatly benefit from being able to play wherever? For me, another great contender was Pikmin 3, that game is peak kino in handheld and I hope they port 1 & 2.

That's a surprisingly good port of DS1 to Switch, although it's not really remastered, moreso just PtDE with Remastered QoL changes added. I'm not complaining at all though. I enjoy playing Postal Redux on my Switch sometimes in handheld mode when I lay in bed.

I want to play a robot game, should I get Daemon x Machina?

>Postal Redux
Still shocked the first ever official port of a postal game to consoles was a remake of the first game on to a fucking nntendo platform.

Dragon's Dogma, Monster Hunter Generations, DaS. I caught up with a lot of shit I now love because of the Switch.

I've never actually bothered with a souls game. Might change that if this goes on sale anytime.

What exactly are you looking for in a robot game? Mech mechanic simulator is pretty good and cheap, then there's assault gunners HD which is a remaster of a Vita game, then there's Mecha Storm if you like gunpla, SRW if you like strategy and actual gunpla that aren't bootleg I'd recommend literally anything over daemon x machina

Souls is a pretty good combo for a handheld. Like a lot of classic games, it's kind of made to turn off and on when you get frustrated.

Technically everything's on sale on ebay, got it physical in great condition for 10 bux

where's my next mario game? I'll take an announcement at this point

>Day 2 again
Maybe they'll release one for the Mario Movie

Mario is a movie character now, so stomping people's heads in might be out of the picture

>Bandai Namco games were just on sale
>DS wasn't
Kind of annoyed Nintendo was the distributor for so many games.

I'm still crossing my fingers for a few more PS360 ports. Hoping for some more Grasshopper game and Platinum games.

How many of the neptunia games if any are available as ports in the switch? I got a Vita but never bothered with the series because I got confused about the order you were meant to play them

I think I'm burned out on JRPGs what other genre should I dive into for awhile?

roguelites

bowsers fury was testing the waters for an open world mario game
hell have like a car or something to get around

No those get even more repetitive then JRPGS.

Nep X Senran just released, but the only other one is Nep VII and apparently it's not a great port.

Oh a shame... Seems like I'll never get to enjoy neptunia at this rate.

You'll never enjoy them at all because they're terrible

I got it some time ago but the audio sounded so... muffled. I couldn't ignore it.
Shame because I really wanted to get into the Souls series.

Rhythm games!

Ever hear about guilty pleasures? Some of us just like some types of garbage games. I have to replay Riviera the Promised Land every now and then despite being a super grind fest boring game for the most part. I just like it.

Sadly i have no rhythm.

More reason for you to play them then.
You'll only get better with time.

Sadly I doubt that. If 5 years of piano lessons couldnt then I dont think games can

No teto posting allowed since the jews at crypton won't give her more than just a few modules

Dude I started breaking my fingers in the easy mode songs for the Miku PSP games and I end up making perfects for most of the hardest songs excluding disappearance but with more than 95% hits because that shit was just bullshit.

THERE'S SO MANY GAMES TO PLAY AND UPCOMINGS I DON'T HAVE ALL THE TIME AND MONEY AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

What would happen if Nintendo launched NSO for PS5 and SeriesSeX?

Retro action platformer collections are pretty neat. Castlevania collection and Megaman collections are my recommendations.

Piano is a meme user
You can't get into FLOW STATE when playing piano unless you're really good at it.
It's much easier in rhythm games because even in the easy difficulty you can get into the FLOW and feel like you're actually playing the song.
And getting into the FLOW because it allows you to enjoy the gameplay and the song and makes you wanna keep going unlike playing piano which leaves you discouraged when you aren't able to play what you wanted.
What said.
Start on easy, just enjoy the song and before you know it you will be clearing hard tracks without much problem.

Lmao. Teto will get new modules once a new PD is out :)
Crypton is dead.

>And getting into the FLOW is important*

What do you mean user?

>Lmao. Teto will get new modules once a new PD is out
You didn't hear? There won't be a new project Diva. They're fully committed to the colorful stage piano garbage

I mean a subscription service like NSO but on the the other consoles so SNES, NES and N64 games on then

La Mulana genre

Megaman 1-6, and 7-10 were on sale for $10 a pop a few weeks ago

Play Zombies Ate My Neighbors

>tfw we'll never have a new PD with edit mode, kino cg intro and perfected rhythm gameplay

Interesting idea.
I can never see it happening personally. If they were to ever do it, I'd imagine they'd sell them as separate games, like the virtual console releases from years ago.
That would be kinda cool honestly.

I can I think alot of the industry is moving away from consoles especially with how hitech tvs and phones are becoming I imagine it's not long before all game companies have a subscription service. I differ from others in that I dont think it'll be streamed

A lot are, but Nintendo is usually slow on the treads the rest of the industry goes along with. That and Switch sells like crack. They'd be foolish to just leave money like that on the table.

the sound thing is a real shame. its the only thing holding the switch port from being the definitive way to play the game without all of the shitty lighting changes the remaster added on other platforms. its not as noticeable handheld, but man it grates the ears docked, especially if you've played it before.

Who the fuck plays FS games on a swtich? what the fuck is wrong with you shitch retards?

It usually comes with gyro aiming making it a superior version to other consoles versions

I wish that was the case for the RE ports. Worst money I ever spent

True but they launched a subscription service before Sony

May have missed some titles and dates, but I felt like typing up a short list. Any guesses on where the games without a date may fit into the year? Pokemon SV will more than likely release within late November.

Yeah I'm gonna be utterly fucked if anything else comes out around that time as well, assuming you're right which I fucking hope you are

?????
What about Mario+Rabids

???
youtube.com/watch?v=Rt9pfN-2S0k

Fuck I want Splatoon 3 NOW
But seeing your list there's absolutely no way it's releasing anytime before August.

Man. I'm so worried about Bayo 3 releasing this year. I really hope they didn't rush the game because they felt pressured or anything.
I just wanted another action game masterpiece. And the latest trailer didn't do it for me.

MOTHERFUCKER, THEY ANNOUNCED PORKS WINGS THE OTHER DAY AT MY FAVORITE WINGS PLACE, NOW WHAT CUNT?

>What about Mario+Rabids
shit I forgot, I'd slot that in december probably since it seems a ways off

I am ready for you to be right desu. Would be nice.

A-user...

Lmao, see? Not the user you were responding to, but I knew I was forgetting a game slated for release this year. Mario+Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, with a currently unknown release date. Nintendo might schedule that one for December, around the time the Super Mario movie hits cinemas.

theyll rerelease wind waker hd or twilight princess in december
maybe galaxy 2

I hate how this game becomes really mediocre after you beat Anor Londo

Play Kirby.

>Fuck I want Splatoon 3 NOW
SAME DUDE. Feeling hyped over this dumb game for as long as I have is painful. Furthermore, the extended periods of radio silence coupled with the schedule strangeness lately are not helping, either. My next bet is the 26th of August. Autumn Equinox this year is on the 22nd of September, so that provides an absolute end date to this supposed "Summer 2022" release window Nintendo had the gall to hit everyone with. To your original point, after Xenoblade 3 was shifted upwards to July, it essentially confirmed that the wait for Splatoon 3 is nowhere close to over.

Cannot say much about Bayonetta 3 myself. Though the games are super cool, and the characters loveable, the gameplay of the series itself filters me. From 2017 to now, I would like to think the developers have done everything they can in order to get the new game to an acceptable place. Considering Bayo 3 was MIA for years, the title now being slated for sometime this year makes me confident that they are close to dropping an absolutely bang-up game. Might not really make much sense to someone who fails to grasp the series, but what about the trailer failed to meet your expectations?

Lmao, I love how December went from being a mystery month, to having almost three different games potentially launching in it. Don't take my reply the wrong way. It was simply comedic to see everyone's thoughts come together the way they did! Loading December up with games makes sense enough, anyhow. Perfect for the holidays!

No.
