because he was based.

it's probably feels good. Like having ranny sit on your face constantly

there was some conflict between "the stars" and sellia, whatever that means. Maybe related to the fallingstar beast in sellia crystal tunnel?
If I had to guess, radahn found out about the alien monsters coming from meteorites and said fuck that shit

tRanni the Tranny wants the moon people to take over and her brother said fuck that

If Radahn was strong enough to hold back the very stars themselves, why didn't he just crush Malenia like a cola can with a thought?

because radahn likes a fair fight

kinda funny that the game's logic is that we need to defeat the guy holding the stars in place so that a meteor can crash and create an impact crater deep enough to access Nokron, all because nobody thought to just set up a ladder to get there from Siofra

Although still not as egregious as DaS2 requiring us to defeat four Great Ones at the furthest corners of Drangleic all because we can't jump over a pile of rubble along the path to the castle.

Attached: 1634530302831.jpg (699x485, 59.88K)

He was never even trying kek. In the trailer he's flexing as he waits for Malenia to reattach her arm and pick herself from the ground.

because he was busy holding back the stars even while fighting her. Literally the "heh, you made me use 5% of my power level" meme

>why didn't he just crush Malenia like a cola can with a thought
He basically did. Malenia had to rot nuke the whole country to escape

There's literally no mention of Radahn being "weakened" or holding back because of the gravity barrier thing with the stars. Also same Radahn got CURBSTOMPED by Morgott early in the Shattering wars.

>Summons count as actually beating hi-ACK

I hope if Elden Ring gets DLC part of it is to see Caelid before it became a shithole, and see general Radahn at his peak

DOOR STUCK

It wasn't the same Radahn seeing as how he was tiny. It's clearly young Radahn before obtaining a Great Rune which caused him to grow or before learning gravity magic, or both.

wasnt he showing off in the cinematic against her since he had some respect for her its the case of one character is extremely powerful and should have won but because he didnt take her seriously he got suprised nuked

CANT MAKE IT! SHITS STUCK!

HEY COME ON MAN

So Morgott got his rune before Radahn? That makes no fucking sense. There's no statement as to say "oh it was the mysterious king of leyndell" or "it was margit that dicked him" you know, like how all the encounters of demigods were registered?? But specifically this one is left untold, despite being about the mightiest of the demigods?

>tiny
Morgott is like 15 feet tall.
>young Radahn
The Shattering has been going on for over 50 years when the current events take place and Radahn already knew and learned Gravity Magic decades before the Shattering happened in his YOUTH. He already knew Gravity Magic and already had a Great Rune when invading the capital.
>It wasn't the same Radahn
Except it was. Its a production issue because the artist drew and illustrated that scene likely before Tanimura and Mikazuki decided he would be a 30 foot tall Zodd clone.

Attached: 32423435234.jpg (1945x1090, 243.99K)

This game unironically took all my interest in gaming away.

the one picture of small radahn fighting morgott doesn't make any sense, it messes up the whole timeline
radahn learned gravity magic when he was young, and he initially learned it because he was hueg. Meanwhile in the picture he's small, and his armor is different with no tusks.

should be targoth instead of patches

>Raoh in Hokuto no Ken dies
>disperses the post-apocalyptic dust in the sky and brings sunlight back
>his star falls
>Radahn dies
>his death releases the stars
>sky becomes clear and stars can be seen again
Kino

Radahn would never invade the capital.
He was a hero.

yeh kinda just seems like an oversight i also cant see his other two arms

Of course! Every other painting is super accurate except this specific one that totally suits your narrative. Cope harder, morgfag

>You're a g-g-genuine dick sucker!

>before Tanimura and Mikazuki decided he would be a 30 foot tall Zodd clone
the earliest concept art ever seen for elden ring is of giant radahn on his tiny horse

>Radahn would never invade the capital
Radahn invaded it with fucking Godrick of all people, lmao.
>armor is Radahn's
>lore mentions Redmanes assaulting the capital
>"Its not Radahn though"
Radfags are the dumbest people

Why not? The Elden Ring was shattered, Marika and Radagon vanished, Godwyn murdered, and some guy nobody knew called Morgott had declared himself King of Leyndell. Surely reclaiming the capital so you can fix this problem is the honourable thing to do, no?

>Morgott is like 15 feet tall.
And Radahn is like twice that, which is literally shown a few seconds later in the concept art of his fighting Malenia.
>The Shattering has been going on for over 50 years when the current events take place.
We don't know how long the shattering has been going on.
>Radahn already knew and learned Gravity Magic decades before the Shattering happened in his YOUTH
Maybe the shattering started in his youth. He's not using a Starscourge sword in that fight with Morgott, but a regular claymore, which you see yo his right, so he clearly wasn't a master of gravity magic yet. Not to mention his small size. We know from the portrait in Volcano Manor that he was smaller at some point, as an adult. In his youth doesn't necessarily mean when he was a child, but could mean when he was in his 20s or 30s.
>He already knew Gravity Magic and already had a Great Rune when invading the capital.
There is no proof of this. Maybe he was invading the capital to claim his great rune.
>Except it was. Its a production issue because the artist drew and illustrated that scene likely before Tanimura and Mikazuki decided he would be a 30 foot tall Zodd clone.
Miyazaki is extremely autistic about tiny details. Memes aside, he wouldn't have approved a piece of artworks being put in the intro if it contradicted something.

Radahn is Raoh clone, shares even the same design.

>One (1) picture of Radhan not having the upper hand in a fight
>We know that he didn't even lose, since he kept his Great Rune and Morgott would have gone for the kill if he'd won
>Radhanfags still lose their minds over it and invent several books' worth of headcanon to explain it away

>lore mentions Redmanes assaulting the capital

Attached: 1640050619501.gif (421x389, 1021.36K)

>Radahn invaded it with fucking Godrick of all people, lmao.
Headcanon. I know you hate Radahn because he's popular, but quit spewing fanfiction.

Radahn would never do that unless he thought it was absolutely necessary. For the greater good.
He is the only objectively good demigod in the entire game.

>lore mentions redmanes assaulting the capital
where?

>with Godrick
I need some source

>Headcannon
>more headcannon
>points at Radahns generic gloves, as if every soldier wasn't just a godrick soldier reskin

>We don't know how long the shattering has been going on.
Yes we do. Its been decades, why do you think the entire continent is in fucking shambles, all the civilians/normal commoners are mindless zombies? That it happened only a few years prior and Godfrey is suddenly decades older and with wizened white/graying hair?
>The Shattering started in his youth.
Nice head canon.
>He was not using a Starscourge sword in that fight with Morgott
You literally have him on the ground at Morgott's mercy, you can't tell what swords he is using. Only one sword is shown.
>There is no proof of this.
Except there is. The Elden Ring shattering lead to fragments of each of the Great Runes ended up in each demigod's possession barring Rennala. Ranni killed herself and hers was lost, two others belonged to demigods killed likely by Vyke.
>Great Rune
>in the capital
Give proof, fuckhead. Why would all the fragments of the Elden Ring conveniently just be in one place?
>Miyazaki is extremely autistic about tiny details
No he isn't.

He was already thrashing her while keeping aliens out. He let her have a moment to get her bearings and she proceeded to resort to the kamikaze rot nuke nobody was expecting. Even that failed to kill him.

fixed

Radahnfags are the dumbest posters in ER threads, this is known.
>headcanon
>"Its just a guy who looks exactly like Radahn and let me make up fanon bullshit about the Shattering not happening over the course of decades, its Rykard"
God damn you faggots are stupid

What the fuck are you talking about? He's a general, he prides himself on being the son of a champion, he compares himself to Godfrey as a conqueror. Just because he's a pretty cool guy doesn't mean he's going to shy away from a battle. He's a fucking general, that's his title. it's his entire goddamn job.

Remembrance for Radahn literally said he learned gravity magic at Sellia in his "younger days/youth", this is well before the Shattering and civil war.

jerren had the best voice acting in the game
Shame I had to slap him silly to get his dope armor

It doesn't even make sense from a lore pov, but Malenia simps have to scrape the bottom of the barrel just to shit on Radahn.

Because it's headcanon that he can do that

>A guy who wants to be a conqueror like his hero, Godfrey, models his entire armor to match Godfrey the Golden, his personal emblem is a lion just like Godfrey, was made the main general of the Lands Between's armies and just happens to have a guy who looks EXACTLY like him attack the capital only to be defeated by Morgott and the capital city's army
>"Its not him though"
Jesus christ

Come to think of it, why doesn't the Academy have a conspectus for gravity magic? It's associated with the stars, so you'd think it'd be up their alley. The Academy even has a gravity elf hanging out in the ravine area.

The game itself doesn't even aknowledge such great happening, 0 mentions from anyone, but countless stories like Godrick kissing Malenia's feet, Radahn and Malenia's battle, Rykard being devowered. Not even the all Knowing (Kek) knows about your headcannon ass beating

>missing patches returning home

Attached: 1649737219354.png (2051x1549, 2.94M)

>There is no proof of this. Maybe he was invading the capital to claim his great rune.
Bold faced lie right here. Gideon states repeatedly that Rykard never once left Mt. Gelmir during the entirety of the Shattering/civil war following the breaking of the Elden Ring and he had his Great Rune so we know you don't have to be at the capital to get a fragment of the Elden Ring.

Malenia fags literally btfo'd

>devowered

>Yes we do. Its been decades
It could have been thousands of years. There is no concrete timeframe given as to how long the shattering has been going on.
>Nice head canon.
I said maybe, since I'm just speculating to try and explain why he's so small other than "it was just a mistake by From".
>You literally have him on the ground at Morgott's mercy, you can't tell what swords he is using. Only one sword is shown.
And the sword shown is not a starscourge greatsword, which were Radahn's signature weapons once he mastered gravity magic
>Except there is. The Elden Ring shattering lead to fragments of each of the Great Runes
There was a period of time before the shattering were the demigods gathered their Great Runes. In fact, the concept art of Radahn vs Morgott is shown while the narrator says this, before even mentioning the shattering. They could have clashed prior to the shattering, before Radahn claimed a Great Rune which Morgot was trying to stop.
>Give proof, fuckhead. Why would all the fragments of the Elden Ring conveniently just be in one place?
Not saying all of them were there, but maybe the one he wanted in particular was there.
>No he isn't.
Yes he is. He's cut out entire voice acted dialogue from characters in previous games because it didn't fit the tone he was going for, like Artorias and Quelaag.

>The game itself doesn't even acknowledge such great happening
99% of the story in any of these games don't outright say that. Do you think anyone talks about Godfrey kicking the shit out of Dragon Lord Placidusax, a prior Elden Lord, and ripped off two of his heads so bad after the war with the dragons that he hides in a different point of time and history? No one mentions it in-character, you have to piece it together.
>Godrick kissing her feet
Once mentioned by Kenneth and once again by Enia, not "countless", other then other characters calling Godrick the weakest demigod, not one of Marika's children, and a runt with diluted blood.
>Radahn and Malenia's battle
Because it was the greatest and most destructive battle since the Shattering went down besides the invasion of Mt. Gelmir at the start with Rykard becoming the Lord of Blasphemy.
>not evening the All Known
Gideon outright says he isn't fully aware of many things and why he has spies and people working as agents for him, you moron.

Because they desired knowledge more than power, gravity magic is good for rekking shit but knowledge is there to be gained from it?

>all the radahntranny cope in the replies
topjej

COPE

Gravity magic has more to do with the Carian Royal family and Sellia, not the Academy (weird but Rennala's girls use gravity, and Sellia is were Radahn learned it)

Notice how the Morgotranny ignored this post because it didn't fit his narrative.

When you put it that way, what knowledge is there to be gained from shooting blue missiles? Gravity is a celestial phenomenon like the glintstone stuff.

You give 1 pre history example as if it excuses everyone not knowing about Radahn's defeat, and you out yourself as a lorelet since the swords tell tons of stories from Godrick's loss to Leyndell's defense.

The sword hills*, those famous Miura homages all over the game

>literal faggot obsessed with Godfrey
>MLP forsefucker obsessed with Leonardo
Elden Ring is truly a LBTQ+ friendly game for designing Radanh.

Attached: nice.jpg (1181x1667, 789.79K)

Nobody in Sellia uses gravity magic, though. Radahn may have learned it in Sellia but he didn't learn it from the Sellians.
>A gravitational technique studied by the young Radahn. His master was an Alabaster Lord with skin of stone.
They study glintstone as a way to understand life and the universe. Shooting blue pebbles is just a handy tool in their pursuits.
>This is a universal first step on the journey to true knowledge of sorcery.

If that's Radahn, where's his horse?
Checkmate Morgottrannies

I agree, might have been reserved for few people only.

umm...Starscourge sisters what's the lore behind this???
