Up until about a year or two ago, FEH was actually extremely generous with free stuff.
But ever since they gave out that free Forma Soul for the anniversary, it took a big turn.

I feel like if they discounted the prices by $50-80% I could see myself actually spending a lot of money on the game. Weird to see gacha games be so stingy on that front. I would be +10ing so many units if the 170 orb pack was $20-30.

Nah, I'll just stick to cooming to FEH.

Nah, since they introduced the seasonal pass spark, it's gotten WAY worse.

That's the thing, these prices are actually the most profitable. They sell so, so, so many microtransactions to Saudi princes, suspiciously rich furries, and other weirdo wealthy mega-autists that they lose a significant amount of profit for each penny they lower it by.

I strongly encourage anyone interested in FEH to stay far far away and anyone playing to quit asap. t. been playing since the beginning

I mean I won't deny that it's gotten worse. Them taking away allegiance battle orbs was what got me to stop playing coliseum in its entirety and I don't even bother with tap battles when they pop up anymore.

The only one that's a wild card anymore is the jugdral one because it was ballgowns for 2 years and then fancy outfits.
Additionally units are just rehashing themselves. Every Micaiah plays exactly the same, she's a restank slow mage with cav and armor effectiveness, and there's 5 of her. They even sometimes make something new, like Halloween FGrima, and then the next year they make Halloween MGrima who's the exact fucking same in costume and function except he's an armor instead of a flier. We're not ever going to get something actually new like a Plumeria who isn't a dancer.

3-8% for a focus unit is way better than most games, plus pity, plus sparking. You can +10 a unit with some 3-4 months worth of saving F2P orbs.
