From's games have very little hand-holding relative to other AAA games, require a bit more cerebral processing to navigate through, encourage secrets and community discussion to unravel them, and celebrate challenges. I feel like if big studios wanted to start copying elden ring they'd have to take a while first, like, Immortals phenyx rising or whatever didn't come out immediately after botw.

the problem is that while its definitely well liked, there are probably only a small handful of companies that has the resources to fully ape elden bing. elden ring is about 5-6 games of reused assets in order to make it work and even then it was release unfinished/unrealized. its just breath of the wild formula with a new coat of fancy paint. i pity anyone tasked with making a not-elden ring for their taskmaster company.

Souls is a dogshit Zelda clone and literally any Souls clone is better than Souls.
