I can't believe smoothbrains still think 7R is a remake and not a post-Advent Children time travel sequel.

Never played the original FF7, but Remake was padded out and boring. The pacing was also all over the place with pointlessly long segments that lead to a basic cutscene of characters standing around. The story wasn't even coherent, despite it apparently being only one small section of the game.

It's just a sign they didn't actually play the game, since the second half outright state it is a sequel.

Fort condor alone is 10 times all the minigames of the original.
1 character in remake, both gameplay and characterization, is 10 times the characters in the original.
The music is also 10 times longer and better.
One single boss fight in remake has more involvement than all the bosses in the original.
Even the events in FF7r are 10 times more deep with more subtlety.
