I think it's overrated since it came after WoD, arguably the absolute worst pile of shit up to this point. So even if it was shit, legion was still better than what came before so people overestimate how good it was. Also demonhunters.

It still has the best OST from all the expansions, it really fleshed out that feel of being on a hostile planet where everyone's out to get you. Too bad that Blizz just let it wither away, even before release.

I absolutely hated almost everything about WoD. I hated the zones, the story, the dungeons, the whole "feel" of the expansion. It's what finally made me quit after having played continuously from (late) vanilla through all addons.

To each their own I guess. I absolutely adore the ambience from past wow, but WoD just had that feel of adventure with its music, which was only halted by the lack of adventure after reaching max lvl.
