Is it still bad?

no

Is OP still a faggot?

waiting for the inevitable enhanced edition

All the patches have done is fix a few bugs, so yes. It is still a bad to mediocre game.

It's extremely disappointing

Always will be

Will they add 3rd person?

I mean it's marketable now. Like it's a working game. The problem is that it suffers from menu bloat, and many of its RPG mechanics are downright retarded and not fun.

never was

mediocre
still fuckton of small bugs and glitches everyhwere
haven't seen anything gamebreaking

They are working on an expansion. I hope they will include most of the shit missing and gives something similar to Blood & Wine. More conentrated gameplay, less soulless open-world.

Never was

My bet is that it was originally going to be a 3rd/1st person hybrid game but switched it to 1st person only cause they were too lazy to make proper animations and make the game fit well in that perspective

I remember buying this 50% off like four months ago.
Had to refund it. Just didn't feel like it was worth $30.
Maybe if it drops to $15-20 I'll give it another chance.
Definitely not worth $60 in it's current state. I'll say that much.
The long list of promises made versus the short list of promises kept still makes me chuckle to this day.
Not sure how Cyberfags can defend that.

It's mediocre and largely meh

It's a huge, huge missed opportunity more than anything

Some elements of it were world class, I really enjoyed the music and the scale of the map, and I actually very much enjoyed the story/keanu

Still a few fuckups but it could be considered a normal game now.
I still enjoyed it from day 1, on PC it wasn't as bad as the rest. I just love walking around in night city

Agreed, feels like cd project bit off more than they could chew.Game feels like it could be so much more, but just isn’t.

Story is enjoyable, characters are also well done. The world is pretty, but otherwise pretty boring. Combat is just easy, no matter you build. It’s very much enjoyable, but only to a certain audience.

All scale no substance. The empty open world meme needs to die.

I was thinking of starting a new save file and trying it out again. I never finished it the first time around.

I went in with minimal expectations but they still managed to disappoint. I just wanted a good story but even that was not that great. I've seen people say that it was an amazing story but a shit game, but I just cant see what part of it was well written.

This. They had gold in their hands but rushed it. So many things feel unfinished or unpolished, even in the lore (I want to know what happened with the Peralez afterward ffs)

Nudity is still censored, so yes

One of the best games ever made, but i still like witcher 3 more.

There isn't a lot of content. The story is great. If you play as a stealth character the gameplay is good too. But if you go guns blazing every mission it gets boring very fast.
I would wait till early 2023 when the expansion comes out.

The guy who wrote that quest said it's meant to be ambiguous and there is no follow up lol.

>still bad?
It never was. You got memed by autists.

based and cyberpilled

Very strange bugs with light and game design from Ubisooft

>it's meant to be ambiguous
I actually agree with this. Also for anyone that likes the quest i'd suggest to play a Street Kid and to start listening at the conversations at the starting bar and to read some of the newspapers on the walls of the bar. There's a lot of foreshadowing and neat lore tidbits that most people miss on while playing.

I'm holding out for 2 more major patches to purchase it. I don't think its worth it right now. You want the first experience for a game this big to be as complete as possible.

Fuck yea it's bad. It's not horrifically broken bad anymore, but it's still an incredibly disappointing game.

Still poorly optimised.

Can this game scratch that urban exploration itch? Can I just walk around random corners of city and simply admire the scenery? Can I find value in going in random alleyways or jumping across rooftops? And what I mean by value is not loot but interesting environments and a strong sense of atmosphere.

the game looks pretty good so yeah, theres plenty of colorful areas to look at and the map has quite a good amount of landmarks
the immersive aspect really sells if you are up for it

Suicide attack ending with Johnny was kino.

That's years away, since they have announced and expansion.

not really no, it feels copypasted after a while and the atmosphere is almost nil

It's playable now but still has some bugs just nothing hilariously bad like at launch. but as for it still being bad? Yeah. the story is mediocre at best, your choices have zero impact, and skipping past the bonding phase with Jackie at the beginning was a really poor choice.

Even if the bugs are fixed completely,Even if the AI is brought up to standard. Overall, the game just isn't that good.

it's pretty to look at, sure, turn on RTX take some 4k screenshots and then turn it off after you're done staring at Judy and Panam. Game is shallow as fuck but shiny.

>mostly positive
this shit right here is why steamcharts and steamcucks in general should be disregarded

yes. bug were never the real problem. it's game design they fucked up and that can't be fixed. also
very generic story with angsty 'muh corporations' characters and cringy dialogue

Yeah. Use the epic fortified ankles cyberware to get into hard to reach places.

Bethesda wins again

>Is it still bad?
It has gone from abysmal to mediocre. An improvement to be sure but it's never going to be good. The reason being that the fundamental structure of the game and how everything fits together is just not well designed. Unfortunately you can't change the foundations of something without tearing it down entirely.

im ok with cyberpunk since it was well written for a game. handled mature themes pretty well, but the outer worlds scoring 85% on steam is just a slap to the face.

It's fine. Treat it like the linear RPG experience it is and you'll probably enjoy it for what it is. Don't go in expecting some open world sandbox experience though. The game doesn't like to deviate from its scripted sequences and you shouldn't bother trying to make it either.

> Still have to suck my parasite's cock just so i can solo the final mission
Yeah, still bad.

yes

Its biggest problems was just how shallow of an open world game it is compared to what it was advertised as. All the patches just fix bugs but none of it actually changes or improves the core game.

The game has obviously been designed from the ground up to be a first person experience. They probably found adding TPP would mean they'd have to make compromises that would detract from FPP, and decided not to implement it.

>If you play as a stealth character the gameplay is good too.
It really isn't. I'm playing as a stealth/hacker hybrid and it's only made me want to replay Deus HR and MD instead. C2077 gameplay is just something you suffer through.

Patches can't change the basic skeleton of the game. It's janky, inorganic and disjointed at its core and you'd have to reboot and overhaul the entire game to fix it.

>buzzwords

it was never bad, it was always a good, fun game
broken and bugged on release, yes, but still very fun game to play
i played it (pirated) on the first day of the release and finished it without any patches on my shitty PC. the worst thing about it was (or still is, dunno) optimalisation, it works like complete shit, no wonder old gen was literally unplayable, i finished it about 80 hours and had only some small graphic glitches, game crashed maybe 5 times and once i fell into the building so i had to load last save

fun game, definitely worth playing

Still waiting for a decent sale

Niggers will complain about main characters being "the chosen one" and then in the next breath seethe when they can't fix all the problems in the world. V is lucky he wasn't instantly killed when he was remotely breached and warned to leave Peralez alone.

You missed when it was on sale for 5 bucks last week?

wasnt that only for ps4

Just use a Ukraine VPN when it's half price to get it for bennies on GOG. Maybe they'll chuck in a war-time discount.

>400k reviews
>mostly positive
>uhm is it bad hurrrrrr
It was never bad, the game just never should've released on consoles

It was for both consoles and you get the next gen update for free. But yeah, my bad.
