Literally everything that was leaked here the other day was true. New dragon race, evoker class, dragonflight expansion. Leak said november this year. Wonder if that will happen too, blizz was just too scared to give a release date because of the delay bs for shadowlands.

Didn't the dragons lose their powers?

The beacon thing was lit and cleared the fog. That could be any deus ex machina to give dragons any powers they want. And if it all fails just have chromie make the expansion in the past. Do you expect blizzard to write coherent stories at this point that they've ruined any semblance of a well put together timeline?

So death and sacrifice really has no value whatsoever in this game anymore at this point. They'll retcon anything. I'm half expecting to learn that deathwing is in it too.
Those people have no honor.

Actually Arthas's soul was split. Half went to the shadowlands, the other half to the dragon isles. When the beacon was lit, it released his soul, and it condensed into a dragon spirit. Arthas is now a dragon, and is a good guy in the expansion.

its pretty sad now user. imagine having an established universe for a decade and literally changing how death works in-lore

the cinematic was peak cringe and the shills are out in full force. every streamer pretends to get all exited since blizzards check arrived lol.

The sad thing is that they have a billion characters yet they keep bringing back the same all over again.

proofs

They OG aspects lost their immortality but they are still dragons

It really did feel like an otherkin fetish larp shit with the dragons flying and twirling around the island we fucking know nothing about. It was fucking weird, it felt wrong watching it.

you can tell what the selling point is... just think about how much of the presentation was about actual GAMEPLAY

The Aspects lost their immortality, like the Night Elves did when they wisp-nuked Archimonde at the world tree. They still have powers and can breathe fire and fly, there's debate over whether they can procreate still and they can very easily die just as Ysera did in Legion.
This is likely the expansion where we see the Bronze Dragons become the Infinite Dragons, and I'll put money on it that one of the major Aspects will die like Ysera did.

But you don't care about an actual response, you were always going to post a cringe anime girl to whoever confirmed your biases first even if it was an outright lie.

The most cringe part of Shadowlands is how apparently everything that has happened in the last 10,000 years on azeroth was set up by the Jailer. So everything is fucking moot because nipples mcgee was behind everything. So fucking stupid. They REALLY thought they had something going into this expansion. Thinking that we all want to see all our favorite heroes and villains again, and to do that we had to go where they died. Just...just fucking stop blizzard.

Not really. They are a little weaker, and apparently infertile now.

It's funny because furries and scalies HATE it and are bashing it on social media kek

This release is like the Blizzcon releases. They never show gameplay there, it's always the cinematic+systems+whatever big changes like race/class releases.
We won't get gameplay focus until the alpha/beta. Sometimes at Blizzcon they'd have a new class available in a sandbox like with Demon Hunters, but those aren't the common theme and never have been for these releases.

Who's still playing this shit?

Death literally means nothing now. Like, oh no! CHARACTER X died! "Uh, actually, it's cool. Pelagos with sort them into their perfect afterlife, so you don't have to worry. They're probably sipping a martini right now."

>he follows furry and scaley social media
>enough to know their opinions on various furry and scaley media
jesus christ dude

Literally everything leaked by Yea Forums furries was leaked here
Yes? And? You did nothing to push the furry mods off this site. Enjoy your furry community!

But is deathwing dead? Like dead for good dead?

Nobody cares about the SL lore and nobody is going to pretend it mattered. Arthas is perma-dead and the Dreadlords infiltrated the various cosmic armies is the only lore to take away from SL.
Nobody cares if the Jailer was behind it all because you can just pretend he wasn't. Nothing changes if you just ignore the Jailer.

intentional "leaks" have been a thing since forever. would anyone be excited for the real thing? not really.

Death has never meant anything since we have canonized resurrections going back to WC2 which also introduced necromancy on top of it.
All we have now is knowledge of a few places where souls might go. And if they were assholes they're paying penance in Revendreth.

>they can very easily die just as Ysera did in Legion
Uuuuuummmmm AKSHUALLY...

The places we go to in the Shadowlands were just a fragment of the "afterlives" that exist out there. There's literally an infinite amount of afterlives that are theoretically perfect for everyone, and with the new Arbiter, there's nothing to sad about, or get angry over when a character dies. For the moment, until it's retconned, every dead character should now be living a better life than everyone on Azeroth, unless they're evil.

>posts a pic of the character's soul in heaven
You're only proving him correct.

Looks gay. As in homosexual. Doesn't look like WC. Looks gay.

Why can't Blizzard focusing on the existing story lines? Like I understand that Cataclysm was a big flop, but can't have finally something about retaking Lordaeron or just rebuilding Teldrassil?

My point is that they always find way to bring back dead characters.
Now that I think about it Deathwing is probably in a seed in Ardenweald about to wake up for Dragonflight.

Dunno mate, he got nuked by his own artifact that was doubly-empowered by the Aspects after the mortal armies ripped off his scales and severed his spine in half causing him to deform into a half-molten misshapen tentacle monster protruding from a storm in the ocean caused by the largest nuclear explosion in fantasy history.

There are also 2 Black Dragons in quasi-leadership positions, one being his son. As far as "kings" dying it's and the fact Deathwing has no direct connection to Death or Necromancy magic, yeah, he's dead. Like Ysera is dead.
The Arbiter has fucked up before and sent people to places they didn't deserve to go. Also, not everybody is happy with where they ended up. Every single zone had unhappy souls in it. Even in a post-Shadowlands version of SL where the Kyrian stop brainwashing and the Maldraxxi curb their appetite for war and anima isn't leaking into the Maw, there's still a lot of unhappiness in the Shadowlands.

If anything post-death in Azeroth is just another form of survival you gotta contend with.
And you missed the entire philosophical point of afterlives if you think mortals can't be sad their loved ones died. It doesn't matter if they're in a better place, it matters they're not with us.

Shit game for shit people

Blizzard doesn't want to touch Night Elf stuff, cause the Burning of Teld was the work of Mr. Bad Man Alex Afrasiabi, and it's also something that basically wrote them into a fucking corner. They tried to pin it all on Sylvanas, but the Horde willingly participated, and made the burning worse. They forced the players to be evil, and don't have the means, or the skill to do anything interesting with that.

Well yeah that's always been true they recycle bosses/villains every expansion we've killed people like kel'thuzad 3 times already. Obviously ysera will come back alive to azeroth at somepoint but that user's post still remains true, she did die and is currently dead.
Deathwing was a massive piece of shit he got dusted in the maw. He's probably part of my lego ring.

that's also true of your favorite game

>The Arbiter has fucked up before and sent people to places they didn't deserve to go.

That's the entire point of Pelagos. A robot isn't sending people to the afterlife anymore. It's a person with caring, and compassion (theoretically). They can, and probably will retcon things, but at the moment, the story is: "if you die, you will go to exactly what is appropriate and fair to you." So if you're a dirt farmer in Westfall, and your life sucks shit, feel free to run into a pack of gnolls, and in a few minutes, you'll be suntanning on the beach with bikini clad pandas, fulfilling all your HMOFA fantasies.

Satan calls himself the jailer

How did the jailers story end in shadowlands?

"The Jailer was evil, because he was trying to defend us from another, more dangerous, unknown foe." Not even kidding.

No we aren’t. We drew porn of a female one less than 20 minutes after they were shown in the trailer.

Stop speaking shit you know nothing about, fag

Despite being a tian+++ tier power level, he died like a bitch to 20 mortals with no power ups, moments before he could rewrite all of reality into a peaceful universe full of love and happiness.

Woah. Really makes you think.

>new expansion story is another giant retcon
>new race looks like some deviant art OC
>already confirmed only 4 new dungeons
WoW is in maintenance mode. It's dead but also undead.

Attached: 1613779311101.jpg (1147x783, 234.96K)

She can take a portal back to Orgrimmar literally nothing stopping her.

>evoker class
my biggest disappointment. what a shit class design.

Well the winter queen guaranteed that ysera was out of the cycle for good, so I have no doubt they'll find a way to bring her back anyway.
If Ysera got to ardenweald there's no way deathwing has too. The Maw is for the mongrel souls.

Who's the rock dude in the trailer?

A Titan Watcher. Basically a stone slave golem.

No, the expansion does have 8 new dungeons.
Ion is just making the bafflingly retarded decision to only put 4 of them in the first season of m+ with 4 other old ones, so he can do the other 4 dragon dungeons in season 2 with 4 other old dungeons. Instead of just doing all 8 dragon dungeons to start then cycling 4 of the shitty ones out in season 2 like anyone with a brain would do.

>So death and sacrifice really has no value whatsoever in this game anymore at this point.

At this point? It hasn't since Warcraft 3 you idiot

>They forced the players to be evil
Dude I kill innocent wildlife in that game because some goblindwarf gives me gold to do it. My character is a sociopath killing machine that has been murdering the enemies of the Horde for 15 years. Why should I feel bad about burning the Alliance dogs' city? I just merely want the story to move forward instead of Dragons.

What does he watch?

There's nothing baffling about it, they don't have the resources and man power for a full release It's maintenance mode.

they didn't give a release date because telling people they couldn't fix the game until Q1 2023 would steal their thunder

Because the story emphasized it as a big deal. I know you're trying to pass it off as just standard Warcraft stuff, and I genuinely do think that's what the mindset was going in, until they realized canonically genociding a player race isn't something you can easily ignore, or brush under the rug.

>deathwing is in it too.
They brought him back to life once, why not again?

In this case, he was just waiting for the dragons to return, so he can turn on the lights in their house.

it won't release this year
>no preorder
>shadowlands still has a season to go and the current one is not even halfway through
>they didn't show dungeons/raids but only the surface

Yeah you're spitting facts. Reading their posts about the talent tree rework is actually hilarious, they outright admit they've done literally no work on it and everything is just a concept at this point. People are asking what kind of abilities and passive they'll have and blizz responses are "we have no clue yet".

Man, being a dragon has its perks
