attributes like those vary from writer to writer. I think the one consistent though is just the pointy ears. Dwarfs being drunkards who love gold BUT are also very hard workers in most shows where this is true. they toil away in order to achieve their riches not plot and scheme so thats kinda bullshit.

at the end of the day it just depends on the writer as mentioned before and the only carry over that you can really look at is physical attributes. like Orcs being Green or whatever.
