What about those games for PS2 and DS? youtube.com/watch?v=kE94D_Cn7D8

>No zenigata
Zenigatabros...

Give me Sly Cooper but with Lupin and the gang.

Just play Rance.

There are no good heist games. I got memed into playing Payday 2 by a friend, only to find out its basically a wave shooter. Just give me a real Shadowrun game.

Monaco

Shit, this actually sounds exactly like what I was looking for. Thanks user

Nobody cares about Lupin anymore.
Part VI not turning out as good as previous two didn't help either.

I haven't watched part 6 yet myself, what problems did it have?

It would pretty much be pic related but more adult oriented.

Ari's pissed off expressions make the show for me

Anything is better than the Rebecca show

What jacket should he wear in the game?

A royal purple one.

*SNAP*
Uhh, Bentley, put this in the cringe compilation

Finally a good fucking thread. I'd love to have Lupin RPG/ Action RPG where you switch between the 3 main cast (and sometimes Fujiko and even Zenigata) depending on the scenario.

I liked part 6 but if fell flat to me in many instances, finale was nice but it was no where near as good as part 5's finish. It doesn't even feel like the entire season is done so to speak they dropped the plot about the new secret orginzation and that black market kid leader.

Its fine but it feels fragmented, the hook of the Lupin v Sherlock gets resolved half way through the run and it moves on to something else. Sherlock doesn't ever appear again. After that the main antagonist is someone very close to Lupin that I won't spoil but its kind of me. I will say that I enjoyed the episodes where it focuses on one of the crew quite a lot even though there isn't any "plot" purpose to them (until the end kind of)

He starts off with green for the tutorial and the first few missions before changing to his iconic red, and then the player will later get access to pink, blue and black.

I can give you a lost vikings clone, and that is the best i can offer.

I feel the best kind of Lupin game would comprise of several kinds of games working cohesively, like a mix of arcade games put into one

Looking cool, Arsene Lupin III!

Jackets should be changed each amount of "chapters" in the game with the Black Jacket being saved for the PUNISHED Lupin arc where the girl of the game (you know like how every movie has that one woman thats not Fuiko) dies for once and Lupin has to avenge her, acting like he would from the manga ruthless and all

Lupin being back isn't a novelty anymore so people are getting bored of it
They should give it a hiatus before doing Part 7

I can't get used to the new Jigen voice, that guy voiced the character for 50 years until he retired.

The ps2 game stealth sucks in case anyone is wondering, sly is the closest we'll ever get to a good lupin game.

>I can't get used to the new Jigen voice, that guy voiced the character for 50 years until he retired.
He did okay. Definitely not the worst part about part VI.

i've not seen part 6 cause [commie] subs are fucking cancer, only episodes 0 and 1, i need to download it again.

Yeah new voice is weird but I just try not to think about it. Its strange how there really hasn't been a good Lupin game, but but between Lupin, Jigen and Goremon thats like 3 completely different playstyles one can work with

who is voiced by Subaru from hololive, i heard she was given a character in part 6

i agree. it would help give the game more of its own identity.

>still no good Lupin III ga-

I like how there's several instances where they left the japanese audio untouched.

>game

Here's your modern day Lupin bro, no need to thank me, Lupin the thnigrd fucking kill me

For what it's worth apparently that dude is just some random nog who read the original Arsene Lupin stories and decided to call himself that. It's still Netflix shamelessly using the name for recognition and they're not being as slick about it as they like to think, but still.

I feel like a Desperados / Shadow Tactics style gameplay would work for a cast with several different playstyles.

Payday is essentially just Left 4 Dead but player vs AI instead of player vs player. It's a decent "heist" game though.

this
it's so simple, and there hasn't been a Sly game in at least like a decade or something

Thieves in time killed the franchise

>part 6 sets up moriarty
>never uses him
>Brings back Albert from part 5 and it looks like they are trying to make him another permeant antagonist for lupin but for the underworld (a role Zenigata can't play)
>Are in the UK for half the part but never uses nix
The only thing i really liked about part 6 was Lupin and Fujiko acting more like a couple after the ending of part 5, i don't even think she fucks him over the whole part

youtube.com/watch?v=tqZD7VYsgXc

Retards.

It's quite sad. There could've been a hiatus right between 7 to 8.

Lupin's soundtrack is very kino

Part 6 was really weird, it was like a hodgepodge of half baked ideas that were suppose to set up something larger but never does. Its baffling to me how Holmes was only part of the story and then never reappears again. Madame Tomoe was barely anything and they pay off was meh. I do like that Yata potentially has a new partner and that Zenigata's crew seems to be rivaling Lupin's so he's less of a 5th wheel. The character specific one off episodes were fine also and I liked that WTF trippy episode with Fujiko. Those were fine but the larger arcs all fell apart or had not impact

no u
youtube.com/watch?v=l0nYMRz1IfU
Part 6 > 4 > 5

Left 4 Dead is already player vs ai

Was gonna say even lupin at his worst wouldn't kill that many cops but then i remembered that scene in part 5 where jigen kills like 100 fucking cops to save lupin

>user decides to waltz in without knowing anything about the subject just because someone dared to insult a nigger

For me, it's youtube.com/watch?v=XvD0eMvXn54

Fucking based, I HATE how underused this theme is, meanwhile you'll get a billion renditions of Love Squall.

I got to finish Part IV and then Part V. I really been slacking.

Part 4 was kind of a slog for me, but 5 was a blast all the way through, definitely the best of the modern Lupin parts in my opinion

Super Hero is probably my all time favorite Lupin song. It always gets me hyped as fuck.

THE NEED A HERO~
SOMEBODY WHO IS JUST LIKE~

Speaking of underused, it's gotta be this song:
youtu.be/dimh4ZLroOY
I don't think it's been rearranged, I only remember hearing it in part 2 and Cagliostro. I love Yuji Ohno, I listed to Cosmos and then got into Lupin from there. A good Lupin game would probably play like Hitman, but you have to steal something instead of kill someone(With Zenigata roaming around trying to find you).

Should i read the manga or watch the anime? Both seem solid which tends to be the case for older anime.

The manga is very different from the anime and even in the anime the different standalone movies and series can vary greatly in tone and themes. Lupin can go from a chaotic and self serving to a goofball good guy who just happens to steal something every now and then. I'd suggest watching the anime series in order and a couple movies every now and then for variety.

>Lupin thread on Yea Forums
EXTREMELY BASED! youtube.com/watch?v=CTKelM1ojis

Neat, just double checking but this is where i should start right?
anilist.co/anime/1412/Lupin-III

>commie are cancer
This stupid meme still a thing under autists? Wait for the BD then which will be even more cancer you nigger.

Yeah, that's part 1. For the movies the Castle of Cagliostro is probably the most recommended one and the most famous, so definitely keep it in mind as well.

HE'S A NICE MAN

d(-_^)

the manga is basically a western thriller for adults and it's completely different from the anime, Lupin is a complete asshole and Zenigata looks like a 1:1 copy of him, it's really hard to follow

Part 3,4,5 are good, i recommend 4 cause there's some throwbacks in part 5 ending.

Lupin - hitman
Jigen - TPS
Goemon - Hack and slash like DMC
Fujiko - Splinter cell

GOTY sells 10 copies in the west. Might try the 3ds game after finishing Sly 2

Attached: 1631059446631.jpg (1600x1122, 216.13K)

Yeah, it's got six parts now. Green jacket comes first, then red, then pink, then blue and now green again.

Sure he is but which one?

Attached: 9495858493.jpg (1344x756, 234.84K)

>Jigen - TPS
With a Splinter Cell Conviction like execution ability that lets you headshot multiple enemies in quick succession

Unless you're picky about genre, that is patently false
youtube.com/watch?v=XjdX-0ufzEo

Their is almost no continuity outside of
Lupin the Third: The Woman Called Fujiko Mine is meant to be set before part 1 so Lupin can't meet Goemon
takeshi koike movie trilogy should be watched in order
Part 5 last arc has some call backs
Part 6 has a character return from part 5
and these are all very loose
part 1 is good and short
just old

>bottom row, second from the left
Netflix adaptation is looking good!

gtaiv if you pretend :( would be cool to have lupin game.

Not black / female enough

Also take your time, part 2 is especially long (155 episodes) and you can get burned out if you try to power through it all at once. Watch at your own pace and watch some of the movies for variety every now and then, Lupin has a pretty loose canon and for the most part you're fine if you just know the core characters and their relationships, so you don't have to be super autistic about watching the movies etc. in release order. Most of the continuity is stuff like nice callbacks you'll recognize if you've watched the previous parts and stuff like that.
