What spear is best, other than the bolt of gransax? Realized I have 200 hours in the game and never used a spear. I'm full strength but considering respeccing into str + fth. I don't suppose there's any spear with good str scaling

total bullshit how spinning weapon is the only ash of war usable on staffs, and the non-regal-scepter versions are a total joke that's completely pointless to use

IMO instead of ashes of war, staffs/seals should've allowed you to "quickselect" one of the attuned spells so that you can always have it ready without always needing to flip through your spell list. Would've made playing as a pure caster a little more manageable.

I was planning to do a barbarian roar STRchad playthrough with this before the update. Now bunch of colossal weapons are buffed. How is the greatsword now? am I still supposed to spam crouch spam shit? (my controller is broken because of it)
Also how is carian grandeur now? can I larp as artoria without using a shit weapon art?

Never understood the point of using this over Claymore. Now there's even less of a point using Bastard Sword since Lordsworn's Greatsword exists. Same stat requirements, same weight, but LGS has a better moveset and longer reach. Every time I ask one of you fools to redpill me on Bastard Sword, I get no reply. I wonder why.
