It was my first souls game. It is a good game but I much prefer Darksouls because it has alot more options for builds and playstyles. BB is more straight forward but has a cool setting and shit fps

Knockout tournaments are inherently flawed. A more fair way would be to pit every game against each other game at least once and have people vote for each matchup, assign a point for each "winner" and then tally them up.

Emulation is genuinely the best bet right now. I know it wouldn't be a simple drag and drop type operation, but just how impossible would it be to convert ALL of BB's assets into something insertable into the PC port of Dark Souls 3?

Even if you could get the assets you'd have to recreate the entire rest of game from the ground up

There are working trick weapons through Champion's Ashes, BB Dash replacing light med roll has been around for years, and rally was figured out in 2018 or so. We're so fucking close bros.

They should just get bluepoint or nixxes or any competent porting house to handle it. Emphasis on "port" though. Don't let third parties "remaster" any assets- just make sure it runs nicely at 60+fps on PC and PS5, and release it as an "enhanced edition".

There is story, but much like the rest of the game, it's not very easy to figure out. I was still finding out new things about the story on my third playthrough. The multiple endings are also all complementary, instead of alternative. All of them help understand the full picture. You need to pay attention to NPC dialogue, do their quests and read item descriptions.
How far into the game are you, if you want to know what you're supposed to understand so far.

That premise is flawed. What makes a game good or bad differs to each person. I'm a huge cosmic horror guy and I really like action games, but BB doesn't really do anything for me in either department. It's not hard to say "I think this game does X really well" and discussion will probably be better.

There are a lot of answers in the DLC, especially in the second area. But I think it's probably a bit overwhelming for people doing it on their first playthrough, I think it works better as a recontextualization tool for people who are already familiar with the story.
The content itself is still fantastic, however, so I still think you should do it anyway. Why do you think the cthulhu boys showed up?

Yeah, it's good to keep in mind the critical reception to Uncharted and MGS4. Console early adoption, and it's excessive coping, have probably degraded the quality expected in games overall.
