this game is one of the most blatant carrot-and-the-stick skinnerboxes i've ever seen. almost all the weapons do the same shit. the game has like 5 enemies that they copy/paste 1 million times. and now they are removing content to make sure you're always chasing after the most recent carrot

Whatever they're doing, they're doing it so well that Sony bought them and is putting them in charge of their live services plans. So....

I remember spending weeks in Momentum Control one-shotting people with Jade Rabbit and Colony to unlock Randy's Throwing Knife and The Mountaintop.

the funniest part is that the game got way WORSE after they left Activision. Bungie was at fault all along.

So far only 2 of the 4 seasons released each year are good. Either they have a shitty repetitive activity or the loot efficiency is terrible. Most of the time I just take a break at the last month of a season. But since the removal of all the must play 24/7 fomo bullshit I've been able to enjoy grinding again

The campaigns all sucked apart from forsaken since it was the only one that wasnt short, had proper bosses and new multiple locations
Raids are by far destinys main and best feature, just look at how shit it gets when theres no new raid like with that gambit season, a veey low point for destiny

The raids were my favorite part and my favorite part of those was being able to use whatever weapons I wanted for the most part. However what I won't do is grind out an entire vaults worth of gear just because Luke Smith hates that I used midnight coup in raids.

I started playing when forsaken dropped and clocked in around 1500. As soon as they announced sunsetting I uninstalled.
