>here's your horde bro
Here's your horde bro
>high heels
if only
Are warcraft 2 and 3 worth playing if i liked starcraft 1 ?
warcraft 2 will be a bit more similar in style while warcraft 3 is a full on 3D game. As long as you stay away from reforged WC3 plus expansion has a pretty good campaign and is worth a playthrough
Blood elves are alliance players in denial. This is a fact.
>Tier 1 blood elf priests
>Protection warrior with heels
Absolutely disgusting.
Heels are for casters.
dwarfchad here, fuck off with your faggot elves. we have enough of them already, don't try to burden us with your garbage.
Wc2 not really
Wc3 is the greatest RTS ever but in many ways it's anti-Starcraft
>focus on micro over macro (managing units is more important than managing economy)
>focus on small unit count and heroes over big murder balls
>focus on offensive play over defensive play (certain mechanics prevent turtling)
>focus on creeping (levelling up heroes and item collection) over expanding
I fucking wish
Blood Elves have been completely sissified
>Blood Elves in art are imposing, strong, and grande
>Blood Elves in game are only ever a joke race
Loving Blood Elf aesthetic and lore has always been nothing but suffering. Having their /jokes poke fun at themselves is one thing, having the literal entire race be treated as a joke by everything everywhere in game is another.
non WoW player here, but I've always been bombarded with marketing material from these guys and always thought they looked pretty cool
>dwarf
>chad
Dwarfags are infinitely worse than elfags because they think they're super unique and their entire existence is just seething about elves because it's totally still funny after all these years
>Want to play monster guy
>"I guess I should go horde!"
>green human
>pointy human
>lanky human
>Green manlet
>dead human
>silly bull guy
>Manlet furry
>"I guess horde it's not for me, lets check out alliance"
>Human
>small human
>smaller human
>blue pointy human
>furry human
>squid human
>Neutral Panda man
Don't know if I am leaving any behind but I feel like WoW needs some crazier monster options
>>Blood Elves in game are only ever a joke race
are they? Compared to gnomes and goblins which are literally just a few jokes repeated non-stop blood elves are taken pretty seriously (by blizzard standard mind you)
High elves > Blood Elves. Not even a debate
yeah whatever faggot, miss me with your psychological dogshit. i enjoy being a drunk, horny manlet and that will never change. get fucked in prison, knife ear nigger
>High elves > Blood Elves
2 sides of the same coin, VElf fags in denial are the worst.
10 times better than Vulperas.
Blood Fags, i apologize.
>katana
GET THIS WEEBSHIT OUT OF MY GAME
No respectable elf would EVER hang out in mud hut savage town. Dont even dare call yourself thalassian
>headcannon
all female elves should wear heels if they're not barefoot
There's basically no difference aside from Blood Elves no longer being able to get high of their own supply anymore.
>living in a successful and independent kingdom with strong and committed allies? Nah I rather watch humans fuck my wife!
why are high elves like this?
You'll get the fox furries and you'll like it
blood elf
Blood elf
only reason I rolled blood elf was cause it was the most human looking member of the horde and I needed to be horde since the Faded Wizard hood was horde only. See, I have a crippling tf fetish, but I can only fap to tf if the victim of the tf is human (or as human as possible) so that's why I rolled horde.
I wish MMOs let me play as a slime or fullon skeleton race.
I see
The vanilla wow era horde races have been so bastardized at this point in wow that Lorthemar is now the biggest chad in the entire faction
the softening of the race in lore has really hurt them.
they were cooler when they were hardline pragmatists. BC and wotlk blood elves would NOT have kicked the void researchers out of quel'thalas.
That was one huge issue I had. Blood Elves are all about unity and standing together and using any means necessary to stay strong, thanks to being reduced to like 0.1% of their former population. Lore-wise they would never have kicked out the Void users, even if they were affecting the Sunwell. At most, they'd've been temporarily moved to the Ghostlands or somewhere else while they found a way to shield the Sunwell.
For example, Warlocks in any other race are pushed to the shadows, kept an open secret that nobody ever talks about, and have to do their shit in the dark secret back rooms. Warlocks and Shadow Priests in Blood Elf society are just as accepted as any other magic user. It makes literally no sense for them to kick out the VElves.
Anar'alah belore
I did only play a BE because my friend was already Horde. I did also have an orc character though. He quit not long before faction changes came out and so I faction changed to Alliance after that. Wish I'd had a chance to play a high elf before I quit too.
Ended up going worgen, that's like the most monstruous it gets I think
>tfw you'll never have a cute blood elf wife
It hurts bros
Agreed, dwarffags really act like manlets with something to prove irl
And I say this as a knife ear hater, imagine being cringier than those shitters
Tauren are at least somewhat unique
Blood elve should've looked more distinct from their noncorrupted high elven brethren.
Sickly pale or demonic red skin due to mana withdrawal or using a demonic source of mana.
Less shiny hair, somewhat unkempt perhaps.
Dimmer; more burning-ish green eyes, rather than the radiant glow, never give them golden eyes.
Options for small demonic features such as claws or horns.
In short, much more similar than felblood elves or demon hunters, also KJ should've blown up the sunwell as his last act of revenge in TBC and forced the Blood Elves to continue going vampire on some Naaru, maybe some random naaru named Xe'ra because she's a stupid bitch that nobody likes anyways.
too white
Their outfits were supposed to be their main visual difference but in wow you all wear the same shit if you're the same class unless if you're dranei or a tauren because those can't wear shoes and that's it.
Similar to pandaren, in art, look decent, ingame? a fucking joke.
Their language? two lore mistakes in one, made a literal joke by them sounding "om nom nom" to others, while we already had a rough idea of what their original language sounded like with the Song of Liu Lang, also, none of the Pandaria races actually speak their original languages aside from the Mantid, as they were all enslaved during the Mogu Dynasty, and their original languages erased and forced to speak Mogu instead to avoid conspiracy.
this is one of the very few blood elf pics i like, others are too.. uh, radiant?
Velves shouldn't even exist, at all.
Shoulda given alliance the Nightborne, and Horde San'layn.
Then again, that would be a sign of Blizzard not hating their players, so that'd never happen
I mean, Blood Elves are all about the Sun (and to a lesser extent Holy magic), their whole aesthetic is Gold and Red (except Blood Knights that are Black and Red), and they're supposed to be an entirely magic-user race (no Warriors, only Paladins), so it makes sense for most art to reflect that.
only monstrous part of your post is the implication of playing WOW
I would've preferred them to dive a bit more towards the blood knight theme, or at least a darker tone of red, and none of that 'just a little bit blue" like on their tabard, none of that fucking shit.
That's the result of years of faction imbalance. All the people who would be humanfags get pushed to roll Horde, and obviously immediately gravitate to the most humanlike race.
>Nightborne
>Alliance
People that spout that shit have obviously not paid any attention to the Surramar storyline.
Tyrande wanted to do nothing about the Nightborne. She was perfectly willing to just go in, kill Elisande, destroy the Nightwell, and let all the Nightborne wither and starve to death, regardless of which side they were on.
Lady Liadrin was the one to offer compassion, the one who wanted to help the Nightborne that didn't support Elisande, the one to offer sanctuary in Silvermoon and allow the Nightborne to feed on the Sunwell if the destruction of the Nightwell was unavoidable.
I really don't care about Blizzard's poorly-written story.
Tyrande could've even had selfish reasons for feigning empathy towards them, that being wanting the city she was born in back. The Night Elves already accepted the Highborne back, and Tyrande acknowledged the nobility of the Nightborne being prepared to give up the Nightwell.
everyone wants the sexy purple elves, but yes them going horde makes more sense.
What blizzard should have done was to explain why Tyrande was so hard against them (they represent the decadent culture that caused the sundering, she thinks they are massive cowards for hiding, it's her kin so it's embarrising for her, she's personally triggered by them hiding away since she was there and had to live through the struggle they didn't etc)
Don't forget that Tyrande also thought they ALL had allied with Elisande and the Burning Legion, and the ones working with us were just sleeper agents or something.
I wish blood knights were a real thing in the first place, not having race specific specs still hurt me
Imagine if trolls had berserker/axe thrower huntards instead
Imagine if blood knights were a thing like the TBC mobs and bosses
Imagine if night elves had a ranged spec with default bouncing attacks and balance druids were nelf only
Imagine if tauren had a no armor warior variant and their feral transformations didn't reduce their size
Imagine if tinker was a full fledged shammy spec considering gobbos get fake totems already
I'd actually prefer you get your fucking blueberries out of the red faction, they stick out like a sore fucking thumb. They look dumb in anything horde-themed.
Now THAT part is something I don't remember, care to bring any proof?
Race specific specs are a bad idea due to balance, though giving them unique visuals would be nice.
>Alliancefags think High Elves are Alliance
Read up on your history and lore allybabs. Quel'thalas fucked off from the Alliance after the Second War
And yet there's still plenty of alliance high elves, hmm, now how would that have happened if they're no longer alliance.
>Returning to find its streets now patrolled by demons that the Nightborne had later allied with, Tyrande has a fairly negative impression of both the Nightborne and Nightfallen exiles. In private, she called them "mana addicts" and said she left behind any regret for the ones that still serve the Legion after they went under Suramar's shield.
>She is also concerned if Thalyssra will betray them and if she'll be any better a leader than Elisande or Azshara. Tyrande tells the Nightfallen leader that her people will see the Legion defeated and the Nightwell destroyed.
Okay, maybe not quite as extreme as my faded memories recall, but she was still overly wary of the exiles and even Thalyssra.
A single spec doing 5% less isn't that huge, especially if they keep the unique shit the class brings. Vanilla was trash at balance but having 1-2 different abilities or your gimmick functioning somewhat differently wouldn't be a huge issue. But then again I am one of those people that didn't like shammies and palas being no longer faction specific because they lost a lot of flavor that way.
Racials are already a thing.
Where is this from? Not that I don't believe you - and again, I'd prefer to rewrite the story to more fit the NB into the Alliance since they just fit thematically, as I said they look like shit in anything Horde-themed, there's literally one set of armor that makes them look decent while also having somewhat of a Horde theme.
>plenty of Alliance High Elves [citation needed]
Thalyssra and Lor'themar are OTP tho
>Racials are already a thing
And IIRC that can make people choose one race over the other, didn't tomb of sargeras have tons of goblins because the rocket boost shit was so fucking good on KJ fight? I'm for racials, but they shouldn't be very strong at all.

If lor'themar is a footfag he is no longer part OF MY HORDE!
Fair enough, I do admit that Blizzard's written the story for them to go Horde, I just wish they hadn't.
There's a lot I wish they would've done differently.
