Yes the size, weight, fan and compatibility soured me on the Steam Deck. I went with a Switch Lite instead because of it. Gotta say I am pretty satisfied especially as someone who likes indie games.
Hard to imagine playing on a handheld that weighs more than twice as much and is 50% wider... not that I would because I'd probably be after 3Q since I didn't find out about the Deck until after it launched.
I hope Valve makes a slim/mini/lite/go/pocket model in the future. I might interested.

This poster may be correct. That graph doesn't seem very accurate to me. Hades can run at full 60fps even on 3w mode. 3W is 6-7W total usage. On a 40whr battery? That's almost 6 hours, not 3 and a half. A lot of these results seem like they didn't bother to play with the power settings. PC games do not care about efficiency and will often use more power than they actually have to.

I'm really confused as to how? Vortex has worked over Lutris for 2-3 years now and it should help automate the process. I've certainly seen modding work on Linux based systems. While I'm not a fan of TES, I don't think it would be impossible. I had no issues getting Strackers Loader for MHW, SA2 Mod Manager for Sonic Adventure 2 and workshop mods on Black Ops 3 working on the Deck. I also had the downgraded GTA IV mod (restoration shit) running there too. What's going on?

Everyone I see complain about the Switch controls being "to small" holds them like an idiot. I guess it's not their fault, they grew up in an era after classic controls and never learned that they shouldn't shove their palms against the side of the thing then complain about their hands being to big.

Let's not be dishonest here. For every Monster Hunter Rise or Mario Odyssey, you get games that run well below 540p (the minimum acceptable resolution for a 6-7 inch screen I think.) Unless this is somehow not 360p.
