Not sure what a Ki is, but nothing can cause damage when he uses any of his invincibility items. I'm not sure what your argument is against that.

All Cloud has going for his design is his hair face and big ass sword. The entirety of Link's design is better.

Keese is the singular and plural form, and no, only Nayru's love has a timer. Cane of Byrna and WW Magic Armor are tied to magic, which can be replenished, or outright made infinite with Chateau Romani and WWHD and TP Magic Armor is tied to rupees, with WWHD's version only losing them which actually taking damage. Not to mention this is all avoiding the conversation about the Triforce entirely.

Ok.. since we want to get technical. In late game ff7 cloud can get a materia called double cut which allows Cloud to slash twice. With a lot of growth, this materia can evolve into 4x cut where he slashes four consecutive times.

Even if you discount the Triforce, Link still has the Fierce Deity mask which outpowers anything Cloud can do in any of the Dissidia or remake stuff.

He gathers the Triforce of Wisdom in the first game. On the Second he already holds both Wisdom and Power and is on a quest to gather the Triforce of Courage to complete the set.

There's also Sneak Attack + Death for an immediate cast of death at the beginning of battle before Link can react. Death Sentence for instant death after 60 seconds. Probably other shenanigans I'm missing.

So Cloud can render Link's beneficial self cast useless unless they come from consumables, which can still be mugged

This is explicitly why powerlevel arguments are the dumbest fucking thing. You should argue by merit of the characters at their median, not the extremes. Any argument that hinges exclusively on theoreticals which are at the absolute fringes of gameplay in order to be made is an argument that will fail under literally any pressure.
