wandering around a bit more and beating lucaria = neat
wandering around even more and realising you're seeing the same shit and all the subsequent legacy dungeons aren't as a good as the opening = wtf

franchise fatigue already settled by the time DaS3 was released, and it feels quite soulless

ER only solidified DeS, DaS1, and BB as the undisputed holy trinity of souls games

lost ark doesnt just have more players, it has DOUBLE the players, so either its really good or ER is really bad.... and theres tons of webs supporting ER is just bad, so bad shovelware is lol twice as popular.

So technically Fortnite is better than all of your favorite games.

the physick sucks though. it's another shortsighted tool to make the game easier and lets you randomly cheeseball stuff for no reason. infinite mana? become invincible? random ass damage boost? extra heal because you suck? sure why not. lets reuse this great mechanic

2/10. I don't have any fun tools or mechanics in this game - both in combat or while exploring. Guess I've been playing fighting games too much since Sekiro.

in my mind I keep going between 8 and 9 so I'll just say 8.5
it's generally amazing and I got depressed the other day when I realised that I'll never play it for the first time again. but there are also some major issues that spoil the fun and can't be ignored. so no perfect score. still goty.

World: Not 10/10 but among the absolute best in any video game yet.
Gameplay: Worst of the whole souls series & spinoffs. Full stop.
Lore/story: Not bad but expected a lot more more desu

Overall I'd say 8.5/10 on a scale where the only games to have 9 would be Baldur's Gate 2 (original) and Dark Souls 1. Morrowind would be 8.75

souls games have never been good,seriously ive seen players state theyre playing a souls game while wishing they were playing a different souls game. it never occurs to these retards that souls games are the reason they arent having fun, not the entry. i mean if i wasnt having fun playing a halo game wouldnt you think i was retarded if i thought the solution was to play a different halo game. souls has like 30% recycled assets, lol its all the same game. soulstards lol am i rite?

it's more interesting than just running with FaP and havels for the whole game and things like faith and poise boosts allow builds to be more situationally versatile.
