Yuyuko's a tough boss so no worries. The only tips besides for practice more are:
>Unfocus to gain cherry faster
You get a shit ton of cherry each time you clear a spell or a non. You can strategically build a border by unfocusing and getting it at a time where the card actually starts. Also, the amount of cherry you get from each cherry box is 1000 + 100(number of captured spell cards). If you capture spells early on, you'll gain border much faster
>PCB bosses have a LOT of armor time
Bosses won't take damage for around the first 5 seconds of any card. Depending on who you're playing, you can bomb skip the spells but only after the armor wears off. Otherwise, try your absolute hardest to bomb as late as possible

I've only beaten SoEW and LLS so far so LLS I suppose. SoEW has its moments even with all the jank, and LLS is an improvement all around. I'll probably go play MS next and then give HRtP another chance. I'm kind of dreading PoDD since from what I've seen I assume it'll just be PoFV (my least favourite mainline game) but more janky, and I don't want to kill my finger mashing the shot key.

PoDD is either one of the easiest games or one of the hardest, depending on the difficulty. On normal, it's very easy outside of Yumemi, whereas it's a murder machine on lunatic.

The best to play phantasmagoria games without getting RSI is by using a gamepad and mashing the shot button by keeping your wrist and thumb still and moving your whole forearm. This way you transmit the stress into your elbow, which is much more suited to these tasks.
