Played echonight on the ps1. Interesting game due to the kings field teams really enjoying making "lived in" and realistic spaces and wanting to make a game with that in it. Puzzles are ok, only a few stumpers so far.

Heaven's Vault - on the surface it is a rather typical SJW VN with nanograms of repetetive gameplay sprinkled in, it is pretty fun, very non-linear game about fictional archeology and lingustics
It does have many frustrating features, like dialogs and character actions prioritetizing pacing over logic (sometimes you can only ask characters one question where it would make more sense to ask them all of the questions), lack of the inventory system (despite your character actually carring items) and linguistic "minigame" which can be just brute forced 99% of times
also ending is genuine shit and (at least for me, which might be perhaps remedied by taking different actions/exploring more) comes out left field, but I don't think it ruins the game
