It certianly needs a jumpstart to its heart again. They just announced they’re adding three new “actions” come June, since it was in mention of a new system I would like to imagine it’s in regards to mechanics. I personally hope they take some cues from Samsho or Soulcalibur and make it more back and forth with it feeling more like a weapon fighter. Be it deflects, guard impacts or whatever else.
Then they also posted the poll results for Top 10 of each region. And the depression of seeing it filled with characters that should have been in already. I think Siete was constantly top 5 just because of how bad they fucked up picking Uno and it’s comical at this point Sandy still isn’t in the game when many expected him to be the first dlc before the game came out. Regardless the only real meaningful jumpstart the game can really do at this point is rollback.

Not necessarily, Nier and Vikala can be reworked to work as puppet characters, one controlling Death the other using Doormouse. I dont know much about FGs, whats a switch?

Someone like The maids from Melty where its simialr to a character that changes their moveset by changing stance, but instead it swaps to the 2nd character. You can swap out which one is in control and the one needed to be hit whilst the other is still on the screen to do combos.
