Yes, you need to abuse forgiveness. Attack Prawnbro until he’s hostile but don’t kill him. Get past the point of the Dung Eater quest where he would die and trigger the event. Since Prawnbro is hostile, Dung Eater never actually kills him. After progressing past that point in the Dung Eater quest, go to the turtle pope forgiveness pool. Now you’re free to dip the prawns in the poo poo sauce.
