I was introduced to competitive in like 2006, but didn't compete. Played a lot of semi-competitive Melee with friends who did compete in 2013-2018. I've only ever been to like two tournaments but I play with PR ranked players and get my ass whooped for fun.

I started getting into the competitive Melee/Smash scene in May 2017, so almost 5 years now. I played Melee casually as a kid though with my little sister.

Melee was one of my first games and I've been a fan of the series since I was a child. I got into competitive melee and smash 4 at around the same time 2014, then I dropped 4 kept going with melee then played ultimate for a bit. I only watch tournaments now because smash games honestly kind suck for competition in my opinion. I went to evo 2019 and made it out of pools in ultiamte so that was the peak of my career kek

Its just not very fun to play the game too many lame shitters, I'm more into actual fighting games now. Highest level competition is still fun sometimes though

I'd just rather play a game actually designed for competition. I love smash but its stupid to say that it isn't made with casual play first and foremost. Hell ultimate has been the first one that was intentional with its competitive merit and still the roster came first

Kzhu up 2-0 on SFAT, peach feels like the new falcon. A shit ton of good ones but no contenders for winning the tournament. All in the shadow of Armada like the falcons were in the shadow of Isai until Wizzy finally did it.
