Not enough of her in bl3. And no I'm not saying this as a biased gaige main who used her as his first character. But then again I guess thats a good thing considering what happened to the one bl2 VH who got the most screen time

i wont pretend to still remember his skills but that is what a remember from when i played, you throw your axe and it exploded, if it killed the extra damaged passed onto other enemies, every kill reset the timer and you had a fuck ton of health because of the combo of getting extra heath if you had no shield and you have a 0% shield that boosted his heath as well.
what am i saying that's so wrong

...I've now ruined the game for myself because I have max level, max tier guns, but I don't actually want to PLAY on Mayhem 10 because giving enemies +10000% health is retarded, and these guns absolutely shred everything in lower difficulties, so the game just stops being fun.

I hated how they brought Gaige back. It felt like she didn't grow at all as a character and became really boring as a result.

bl3 suffers from even worse balance than bl2 somehow. Maybe shitting out legendaries 24/7 doesn't make a good game

I mean, I kind of get the (dumb) descision to move the slider on your gear so purple becomes the baseline, and orange becomes the standard because you want people to feel like they're winning and shit, but the whole thing just feels kind of fucked.

Dude even on just a regular playthrough you commonly find legionaries that can carry you for 10 levels easy, and by then you'll find another legendary that will carry you

They should just allow for gun crafting and customisation. Loot autism is so fucking stupid.

I remember that for some reason that I cannot fucking fathom now, I played BL2 up to and including Ultimate True Vault Hunter Mode. I don't know why, it was painful and annoying and not fun at all. There's no joy to be had in every enemy bullet one-shotting you, and having to grind out the specific best sniper rifle in the game in order to be able to heashot kill an enemy in less than 50 bullets.

So I also don't really have any desire to slog through BL3's 10 Mayhem levels when I already know there's nothing of interest waiting for me at the end except the same guns but with bigger numbers and the same enemies but with 10000% health.

I agree. I don't know why they didn't do this, but all they've really succeeded in doing is making the weapon "parts" they build their guns out of randomly be more limited and less interesting. At least BL2 you could find some guns with like, crazy magazine size or something else interesting. But it feels like they really stripped it back in 3.

I'd love to be able to upgrade weapons, maybe keep the low-level gun I like and make it higher level, or that perfect base sniper or something and add parts to make it rare or legendary even. They have the tech, it's just too much work for them to program.

I haven't seen anything like that in Wonderlands yet, but I thought Moze was a fun time in BL3

nah you just needed slag with purple jacobs, but the point is still accurate. Without the snowman dlc for easy loot it can be difficult to get what you actually need

There's multiple classes in Wonderlands that have summons who help you fight

why did it take them 5 games to let you make your own character instead of picking one made for you

They noticed themselves they can't write good characters so they gave up on it when making a game that's DnD themed and instead let the player self-insert to cover for that fact.

And Wonderlands is probably my favorite Borderlands game now so it's better for it, I would not mind if they either kept doing spin-offs or more in the vein of Wonderlands.

Yes, she goes full titanfall mode and her mech is very powerful. Or you can go gun moze and never stop firing. Either way you can't go wrong with her.
But Zane is also very strong as well. Honestly there isn't a bad character you can pick in 3, they all perform nicely throughout the game.

How do I play the first one to have the most stuff with enemies leveling with me? been thinking of playing playthrough 1 then the DLC's, which should leave me at around level 47, after that playthrough 2 but only the story missions so to keep all the side missions. Once I have defeated the destroyer a second time I have all the side missions and DLC leveling with me.
Is that considered the way to play?

Krieg is like the most binary character in the game
And by that I mean you literally watch his HP go from 0% to 100% repeatedly forever, while he runs around on fire and cursing at everything
If he manages to somehow stop being on fire then you activate his ability to instantly recover his health and remain tanky until you manage to get set on fire again, rinse and repeat
I picked Krieg when playing through Borderlands 2 once and my friend got jealous once we entered the late game where enemies kill you in seconds (he picked Zer0 and tried using that one perk to make the last bullet in a gun 10x powerful with that one infinite ammo gun that only holds 1 bullet, or something like that) because he was just getting killed constantly, getting fucked trying to use that drunk gun and a shotgun that fires swords to heal from or some shit, meanwhile I was having a fucking blast being immortal and watching my HP just keep going from 0% to 100% like I was cheating
Also Krieg eventually gets the ability to do like a billion damage with Bloodsplosion and a specific Tediore rocket launcher or something, letting you more or less one shot certain bosses
